My 2nd stay and I thoroghly enjoyed it! Very clean, great staff and excellent location.. Would recommend to everyone.

The hotel is within walking distance of all major attractions, the rooms are gorgeous, the views are great. The big fly in the ointment was no free wi-fi - the hotel wanted $14.95 per day. We went across the street to Blenz coffee, had (great) breakfast and used their free wifi.

They went all out. The manager on duty really cared about making our trip special. The hotel is so modern and the room was very clean. Such a great experience and we stay at nice hotels all around the country! Great location as well.

We stayed here a couple of days before boarding a cruise ship to Alaska. The hotel has a contempory decor and the location is great for sight seeing in Vancouver. Most areas of interest are within walking distance and there is a great Vancouver information center only a couple of blocks from the hotel. There is a skytrain station right by the hotel and a stop at the hotel for tour buses. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel! Recommend getting a balcony. Great price and location. Would stay there again.

I think I got a very good deal. Very convenient location in downtown, right next to skytrain. Ask about buses to get around too. Hotel personnel very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Family enjoyed the pool and gym.

MAID SERVICE COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED

The Hyatt Vancouver is a great place to stay. It has the Hop On-Off bus tour stop right at its door. This tour goes to all of the tourist destinations so no other transportation is needed. The SkyTrain is also next door. It is close to many restaurants/shops and the mini mall across its driveway is convenient with a drug store and a McDonalds. I have never experienced such a friendly staff---everyone that I had contact with had a smile on their face and offered assistance before being asked. I would have been willing to pay twice the great price that we had for our awesome stay at the Hyatt.

Good location, friendly staff. Only negative is the parking fee, $28.00 + tax.

Room was large, clean, and well-equipped. Had a problem with a rental car, and the staff went out of their way to help me get it resolved. Heartily recommend this hotel.

The Hyatt has been billed us an extra $47 on our credit card in which we have know idea of what for???

First class hotel. Has the "new hotel look" of Hotel 1000 and others. Friendly and efficient staff. Bi-lingual workers that aim to please. Will stay there again on our next trip to Vancouver, BC.

great value; beds are extremely comfortable

The hotel was very nice, a bit pricy for the large corporation treatment and feel. My biggest problem was the INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE parking. We paid 42$ for overnight parking! The board said 24 which was ok even though it was still expensive but the hotel did not tell us that if we parked there early than 6 in the evening we would be charged extra. I was very dissatisfied with the low quality of information we were given and the horrific amount that we were forced to pay. We spent our second night at the pacific palisades hotel which was infinitely better.

Loved, loved, loved the hotel! Such a friendly atmosphere, beautiful hotel rooms, very clean, & in a great area! I would definitely stay there again when I visit Vancouver, Canada.

Easy walk to many sites in downtown Vancouver. Great view from room. Beds very comfortable and bathroom was well supplied with toiletries. Only suggestion would be to inform visitors that the parking lot fees are not included in the room rate.

We got a great rate for a very comfortable hotel. The bed, mattress and comforters were all first rate.

well appointed and helpful staff. wifi expensive, since a Holiday Inn has free access. Would stay there again. Used a smoking room with balcony. They used air freshenrs in hallways, which kept ordor to min.

All phases of the stay at this hotel met the expectations of a four star hotel. Only negative to the stay was the charge of 49 cents per minute to use the internet and $1.50 per page to print my download. Typically hotels at half the price provide these services for free.

i enjoyed my stay at the hotel. the parking at the royal parking was expensive also the highspeed internet. They provide many things in the mini bar. it is tooooooooo expensive. before taking anything from the frigerator be careful..

It's location is terrific for seeing the city but I expected more from this hotel. Key didn't work in door. It took 2 calls before someone let us into our room. Room was freezing cold when we (finally) got the door open. Many of the street level entrances were locked. Several times I came upon a locked door (no sign) and had to try to find another entrance. Upon returning to the hotel that evening, there was a long line for the elevator and no one directing traffic. I left and returned 1/2 hour later to find there was still a line. Because I was on the 23rd floor I had no choice but to wait. Check out on the TV wouldn't work. More than 20 minutes to get our car from the garage.

Hotel is postioned in an excellent location for visiting Robson Street, down town vancouver and Stanley Park. The staff were very polite and efficient from the point of check in until we checked out. The hotel has a very spacious lobby and communal areas. The room was well equipped and clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was included in the price and had a very varied buffet. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to be situated in this area of Vancouver.

Loved it! They Hyatt is located downtown in the middle of everything. You can walk to shopping, restaurants, Stanley park, Starbucks, etc. Parking was a little confusing, but we got it figured out. You can pay through the hotel or pay directly at the parking lot. The hotel staff were friendly & helpful and the room was clean. We had a fantastic view from our room of the city. There was a Coffee shop in the lobby so you didn't have to go far for a morning latte. Overall our stay was great!

Good hotel. Had minor issues with maintenance being conducted at 9:30 in the morning in neighboring rooms. NOT good when you are trying to sleep in or jetlagged. Parking is pricey as the garage is not owned by hotel. The hotel does not get a worthwhile discount from the garage owner. You have to calculate on your own based on how often you plan to leave and reenter the garage whether it is cheaper to pay the garage directly or buy a permit from the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. The room was very nice and clean. My only complaint was that the King sized bed was two twin-sized beds pushed together, so there was a very uncomfortable seam in the middle. The location was great - downtown, close to everything.

I was mistakenly double booked at the hotel. The manager wanted to charge me for one nights deposit on the second room eventhough I was at the hotel and there was obviously a mistake. I had to call Hyatt customer service and after a half hour on the phone, the main Hyatt representative convinced the Vancouver manager to not charge.

This was a really nice experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice. I would definately recommend this to anyone.

I recently visited Vancouver on a business trip and was hoping for a better experience with this hotel. First, let me specify that the staff - bell hop, porter, concierge - were all very friendly and professional. I think there was a failure with management as per the following. I arrived at my hotel late on the first day of my reservation - however, I made it a point to call ahead and let the staff know that I would be late and would appreciate my room being ready. My call took place approximately 1 hour before the check in time. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that they were sold out, and that I had been moved to a room with a sofa bed. I heard a lot of apologies - "sorry for this inconvenience" etc. I was offered free breakfast and internet. If anyone out there who travels on business thinks this is acceptable, then go ahead and book at this hotel as you won't mind any surprises. The sofa bed was OLD, extremely uncomfortable, and the room was freezing. Hotels.com has been trying to accomodate me and make this up. I was moved to what should have been my room the following day. I spoke with a very nice gentleman the next day who tried to make amends, but did not deliver on our agreed-upon compensation. In short, I'm still perplexed as to why Hyatt did not deliver on their commitment on a reservation that was fully paid for ahead of time, and also why they would not follow through with trying to make amends, especially in such tough economic times when customer satisfaction can go a long way.

The room is awesome with stylish and contemporary furnitures. The desk is large enough for you to spread out computers, files and folders to work on a big project. The sleekly designed desk lamp is a plus. The location cannot be better -- A 24-hour McDonald, Sky Train station, Food Court with about a dozen restaurants, convenince store and a bookstore and just DOWNSTAIRS from your hotel room. The Sky Train can take you to most major attractions, so if you don't need a car don't rent one, cuz parking is $24 a day!

The elevators are very slow, Fitness room was nice

We were impressed by the quality and central location of this hotel and the reasonable rate we were offered. The only negatives were (1) that we paid extra for a room with a "preferred view" but saw mostly office buildings from our window (for the money we expected a harbor or water view), and (2) room service had mediocre food and was expensive - it did arrive promptly, however).

What an impressive hotel. The staff couldn't have been more attentive or professional. Couldn't open a door even when I tried. The location was perfect,two short blocks to Robson St.and a nice stroll to Gastown.

This hotel was in the perfect location. Lots of shopping/food within walking distance. The room was very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The only negative is the parking garage. We paid for nightly parking, so the parking attendent gives you a ticket that is supposed to open the gates to exit and enter the garage. However, it seemed that system wasn't working. We basically had to hit the help button and wait for the attendent everytime we exited/entered. There was a line of cars at one point, indicating that others had the same problem. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. The fitness center is a lot nicer than most other hotels I've been to. Definitely recommend this place!
