Le Meridien Montparnasse - Parijs

The Bathroom is not clean in this hotel. Toilet area has wall paper the smells and bath tub that needs more cleaning. Location is great.

The hotel is rated 4 stars but the facility needs update. May be that is what is expected in Paris for 4 stars? Regardless it's location was convenient and clean.

The Hotel was "OUTSTANDING"! The hotel staff was very helpful when asking for directions, train stations, food/shopping. they provided us maps of the subway and the city. Also, great location. The subway was right across the street from the hotel which gave us access to all of the attractions with in minutes. Free wireless internet in the lobby only. There was wired internet but cost 15 Euro for 24hr access. Hotel food was also excellent.

This hotel was in a good location in the middle of Paris. The Metro system across the street gave us easy access to all the major attractions for just a few Euro's each. The Hotel restaurant was not that great. Very quiet rooms and atmosphere. Overall a good experience.

Staff was extremely helpful and the room was perfect! Bathroom was very spacious too! Train station was just across the street, and movie theaters 2 blocks away with English originals. Would definitely stay again at this hotel. Con: Paying for internet was the only problem. That and 10,00 Euro drinks at the bar, but that is expected!

My husband and I just got back from Montparnasse and we were very happy with the hotel. The bus picked us up at the airport (CDG and Orly both run to Gare Montparnasse) and dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. Only 24 Euros roundtrip/person. Which is considerably less then a cab. The bus/ train terminal is directly across the street and the entrance to the metro is a short walk away. The room was very clean and the bathroom was huge compared to other European hotels. The bed was also a proper queen instead of those rooms where they push 2 twins together. The consierge helped us find our way around and even found us a theater that was showing current english movies with the showtimes and prices. Our flight didn't depart until very late Friday night and they were more then happy to hold onto our bags while we walked around Paris after check-out. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is very nice and convenient. The staff is attentive and tries to help in any way they can. I did try to check in at 2pm as hotels.com said that 12pm was my check in time but the hotel said it was 3pm and no room was availalble. After a fuss they did mysteriously find me a room. Other than that you will always have a pleasant stay here.

I think we need to include in the rates, the breakfast. The hotel have good ubication and good services, but when we are going to have the booking is good if you know what it include and the best one is include in the prices the basic services as the breakfast, because the other services eventualy we are looking or make tourist and we are in back in the nigh.

July 17, 2007. Stayed 3 nights with my wife and 2 small children. Fantastic location next to Montparnasse, subway, bakery, 3 grocery stores, wine shop, restaurants AND Air France shuttle bus across the street. Extremely convenient. Decent room on the 8th floor facing Montparnasse cementry. Everything worked in the bathroom but it was bright orange and substandard for a 4-star. Nevertheless, I will stay there next time I am in Paris. Good value for family of 4.

The hotel was very clean, first class accomodations. The area of town was clean, and the access to a main train substation makes this hotel a great location.

The hotel's facilities / comfort level was very good. The location to the main tourist areas was beyond a reasonable walk....but just a short metro ride.

cet hotel ressemble plus à une usine, pour un 04 étoile, les chambres ne sont pas très confortable, le mobilier un peu vieu, et la salle de bain pas très clean, le faut plafond percé et gouttes d'eau de climatisation ds la chambre!! pas très emballé par Un Meridien!! plutot déçu!!

Je suis consterné par le rapport qualité/prix dans cet hôtel. J'ai eu une chambre qui n'avait visiblement pas été renovée depuis les années 70: Salle de bains en orange fluo et état des lieux désolant. Au prix demandé, je m'attends à un peu plus... Peut-être étais-je au mauvais étage cette nuit, mais dans ce cas, il faut adapter les tarifs. J'y suis retournée une semaine plus tard et ai remarqué que les chambres au troisième étage semblent être un peu mieux entretenues, notamment la salle de bains était entièrement refaite. L'état des meubles laisse cependant toujours à désirer. Pour un quatre étoiles, ce n'est pas acceptable. Aussi, les prix du mini bar sont un peu délirants. En bref, je n'y retournerai plus.

Pour un 4 etoiles la salle de bain parait sortir des annees 70-80 sinon tout est tres propre, bon confort général et un service de qualite

Man får førsteinntrykk av å komme inn til innsjekkingsskranken på en flyplass, og inntrykket blir ytterligere forsterket pga høye priser og kjølig, businessorientert service. Men for all del, med spesialpris på oppholdet og god beliggenhet, kan hotellet trygt anbefales for dem som ønsker shoppingnært, dog forretningspreget, hotell med grei adgang til Paris' severdigheter.

Décue par la chambre, petite et tout à fait standard mais qui ne correspond pas à ce qu'on attend d'un quatre étoiles et à peine d'un trois. Le hall de l'hôtel est comparable à un hall de gare ou d'aéroport, aussi intime. Le service au bar est déplorable. A déconseiller vu le prix. Je n'y retournerai pas.
