Eden Savoy Hotel Rotterdam - Rotterdam

VERY noisy hotel. Day and night you hear banging of doors, people and children walking and running through the corridors. Talking and shouting. Didn't sleep at all. And the rooms... How can this be a 4-star hotel? Not in my opinion. Very overpriced. Hotel is past it's sell-by date. Wouldn't recommend this to anybody.

The Eden Savoy seemed good value for money for the standard. I paid for room only, breakfast was rather expensive at sixteen fifity euro, but par for the course with hotels. Staff were helpful, courteous and efficient. Location reasonably central too, twenty min walk from centraal stn.

Very nice property. Everything worked. Plan on a little walking to get to main attractions ... public transport is good if you can figure out the ticketing system and where things go.

the room was ok, but certainly not "superior" which is what I booked. Apparently, the difference between a normal room and a superior one is the "superior pack" which is bathrobe, slippers, and a fruit bowl.... I had two goes at getting a room with a working safety deposit box, and in the end had to use the safe in the hotel to leave my things as neither of mine worked. Bathroom was small, the toilet needed a good cleaning, and the front fell off the soap dispenser. On the plus side, it was a convenient location, and the staff tried to make things work for me. overall, for the price paid, it was a fairly ordinary hotel, lacking in atmosphere, and in need of a shake up.

The first impressions given by this hotel and its neighborhood might not be the best (on a rather unassuming street), but once you get to know the staff and Rotterdam better it's a great place to stay. It's close to everything (train/metro station, architectural landmarks, nice restaurants, shopping centers and car rental). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the 4 computers with free internet access in the lobby were also great assets. We strongly recommend this hotel, at least if you plan to visit Rotterdam and not stay in your room!

Very good location, very nice and clean room on the 7th floor with terrace! Bathroom small but OK. All Staff/reception efficient and very kind! We loved Eden Savoy!

The hotel uses all Eco Freindly bulbs and I could not even see the display on the thermostat because it was so dark--that was with every single light turned on. The bed felt like the springs were pertruding into my back all night--very uncomfortable.

Good transport links, staff helpful with directions free maps and attraction books Theres a Saturday market just round the corner well worth a visit it is huge Plenty of local restaurants and bars.

The Room was clean. The bathroom was so small that you couldn't even open the door when you sat down. Nowhere to hang wet towels either. The balcony was big but there was no privacy from neighboring balconies and there was nowhere to sit.Also the double bed we booked turned out to be 2 single beds that moved away. That might be standard though in Holland since that was the second hotel with single beds instead of doubles. Parking was good since they provide a car park for ?15.

Although we were given a room immediately next to the lift, the placement of the small shower room against that wall meant that there was no noticeable noise from that area. About 10-15 min walk to the river (eg: for the Red Bull Air Races). Short distance to main shopping and restaurants.

Excellent hotel for short stay, needs facilitate parking for the geasts.

Rotterdam som är en supermodern stad på alla dess sätt har detta från utsidan ganska vanliga hotell. Dock när man kommer in och möts av de ntrevliga personalen och schyssta lobby så känner man att detta är ett gott hotell. Rummet vi bodde i var rymligt och fräsch toalett.

Hotellet låg bra och hade trevlig personal. Inte svårt att hitta dit och förresten så behöver man bara ta upp en karta så kommer någon och hjälper till med vägbeskrivning.

Très bien situé , central tout en étant au calme , super petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité en quantité . Je suis resté 2 nuits 158 euros pour 2 avec petit dejeuner , c'est royal meme si la chambre na pas été faite entre le premeier et le 2 eme jour .Chambre très confortable

Trevlig överraskning att "continental breakfast " här inbegrep den fina frukostbuffén. P-hus i närheten kostar 17 euro/dygn. Trean i servicebetyget pga av ointresset av att vi fick ett rum någon olovandes rökt i.

Mauvais service, personnel désagréable, chambres minuscules et sdb encore plus minuscules. Odeurs nauséabondes dans certaines chambres.

Bättre läge än så här kan man inte få i Rotterdam. Hotellet ligger mitt i Wasserstadt med närheten till både marknaden och den övriga shoppingen. Frukosten var väl värt tillägget.

Notre chambre se trouvant au dernier étage, le 7ème; et à coté d'un conduit de cheminée; nous avons entendu beaucoup de bruit durant cette longue nuit.

Mittelmäßiges Hotel jedoch sehr Zentral, unweit zum alten Hafen (Kneipenvirtel von Rotterdam)
