Delta Centre Ville - Montreal

The hotel was very according with the paid price. Location is very convenient and appropiate. Tip: parking in front of hotel is cheaper than the hotel's parking, which is always full anyway.

I have stayed in Montreal at least twice a year for more than 20 years. The hotel is very nice. It is easily within walking distance of places you want to be. I was unhappy with a few things. When I asked about parking, I was told that they have parking. What they really mean is, parking is $22/day. I did not find this out until I was leaving. They "validate" your parking ticket. This means that you can drive in and out, not that the cost is included. Another thing I was unhappy with is internet service. It is an extra $11 / day. I asked about this and was told that because my room is so inexpensive, internet service is extra. This seems ridiculous. Overall, I would not stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful in every way. The checked in was quick and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The location is an easy walk to Old Montreal and the bike paths. The even had a place for us to keep our bikes inside the hotel at night. The doorman was a stitch, you must check this place out!

One of the windows in our room had a slight crack. There was also duct tape on the window hinge. There was several hairs left in the bathtub and a small spot on the bathroom wall that looked like dried blood. the toilet in our room flooded without even putting toilet paper in it. Other than that, it was a comfortable room and the staff service was great. the close location to the shopping district was great. easy access to the freeways and airport.

Liked the noon check-out time and the fact that our room was ready at 1:00, but nothing else was worthy of any kudos. No refrigerator in the room. The internet was down for most of one day. The batteries in the remote were dead. The towels were threadbare. The fitness center equipment was old and in some cases broken, though they did have a wide range of free weights, an exercise ball and a foam core roller which I appreciated. All in all an average experience. Convenience to the convention center dictated our stay there.

Great Hotel, Excellent Service, great rooms, wonderful concierge

The Delta Center Ville was very clean and the building and rooms were well-maintained and beautiful. There was a hockey tournament that weekend and I was a little worried about noise and there were no issues what-so-ever. The hotel was very smart and put groups together on one floor and made sure other guests were not on the same floor. The hotel is located in a perfection place. It was an easy walk to Old Montreal, the underground shopping and various restaurants. I would stay there again. Actually, I do not think I would stay anywhere else.

The hotel, while not built in a style that conveys the historical ambiance of Montreal, was a pleasant place to stay and centrally located to both the Old City to the east and the crazier, university area to the north and west. Despite there being several hundred amateur hockey players milling around, there were plenty of elevators and I never had to wait long for one; they were also some of the fastest elevators I have ever been on, so fast that I thought the floor was dropping out from below me. The room was very comfortable and clean. One small complaints has to do with the mandatory "bell boy" service where I was forced to hand over my shoulder bag to the bell boy to carry to my room so that I could tip him. This may be his mode of living but it should not be mandatory. Given that I had no small bills, I had to hand over much more than was necessary. Another problem was the drunken noise at 3-4 am when the late partiers returned. But my room was right near the elevators.

I've stayed in other moderately priced hotels in Montreal before, but stayed here due to the good price. The decor was superior to others I had stayed in. I will stay there again in the summer during the jazz festival. It is a very short walk to the festival from it's location. Also it is at the beginning of Old Montreal. I thought it would be noisy because it is on a busy street, but in my hotel room I could not hear traffic. Great hotel!

I figured this hotel would be nice given it's neighborhood, but it did surpass my expectations.

I was there for a conference. The location, staff, accomodations were excellent. The only issue I had was the price of the hotel restaurant meals, but is the norm I believe. Lots of great food and reasonable in the underground, recommended by the hotel staff.

Once we arrived from NYC, we liked the surrounding area very close to shopping district. Inside the hotel, the word that can be used it quaint. By no means is it below average. It just was missing that special something to make it stand out. The room was somewhat small considering we had asked for double room occupancy. No bigger than a studio. The bathroom was brightly lit. Yet you did see signs of wear & tear on the walls,doors & shower curtains. Hotel service was about average w/the food being no different in what you would find in a diner. The Concierge on the other hand was topnotch. Very informative & helpful. Overall, we'd say if out of other alternatives the stay here is bearable just dont expect something that will give you a lasting impression.

I stayed two nights at the hotel. I enjoyed the service, and room service did a good job cleaning the room. The hotel is located close to the rail station.The staff was helpfull in making recomendation. I will stay here if I visit Montreal again.

The hotel is situated on the edge of both the old town and the new town so its perfect for getting to both within a 5-10 minute walk. The old town is the more touristy but quaint streets near the waterfront whilst the new town has a mix of shopping malls and more modern eating areas. No need for transport. The hotel was very efficient. Rooms with air con and parking under the hotel (approx $25 a day)

I've now stayed at this hotel several times. I've always been satisfied. It is very easy to get to from the highway. It's not exactly walking distance to the "fun" downtown areas but they are only a short taxi ride away. The metro is easily accessible from the hotel as well.

Pros: Somewhat cheap room. Excellent, kind staff! Cons: Awful beds, tiny TV, nothing is included, no food, no parking, no internet. Rude waitress for lots of money for bfast.

We loved the Delta Centre Ville Hotel. Close to Metro and Old Montreal. Very clean, trendy rooms with comfy beds. Loved the cordless phone and ipod dock included in our standard room! Any calls for extra items (coffee, towels) were delivered immediately. Would recommend this hotel to everyone!

I liked the fact that the hotel was easy to locate when we first got there. Right off the highway! Located between Old and New Montreal. As soon as we got there we went for a walk through old Montreal and had lunch right by the town square. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and made dinner reservations at a really nice restaurant. Good value for the money. Clean rooms, nice pool, good location!

Modern hotel with all of the amenities and situated on the edge of the old city. The St Catherines retail strip is within a few blocks (up hill). Great location especially if you enjoy walking. Our room was renovated, very clean and very comfortable. Definitely would recommend and stay there again.

A fine experience. The only drawback was that, while in the sort of middle between downtown and the old town, it was a small bit of a walk to both, and there's not much around the hotel itself. Subway is close and coms in handy though.

We stayed at this hotel for one night last Saturday to attend a wedding. The location of this hotel is convenience and very close to the museum of science, downtown and other famous places. Room is nice, clean and comfortable with desk and internet connection ($10/day). Parking is $22/day with unlimit in and out. The only minor issue was when we came back from the wedding around midnight, none of the ice machines had ice or working. I tried to go to 5 different floors (ice machine is on the even floor number) but the result was the same - no ice. They do have soda machines but at that hour, after drinking and party all night, you probably need bottle of water more than anything. I went down to the restaurant and it already closed, luckily, the bus boy just came back with a full cart of water and soda bottles from the party within the hotel so he gave me couple bottle of water.

We arrived early at around 11am and they let us checked in early. All the staffs are very friendly. A very clean and big room. My only complaint is that there's no fridge in the room.

This hotel was perfect for our family. It was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were lovely, and the location was outstanding. Downside is the parking. It was very tight and full. We ended up parking on the street all but 2 nights. We had to put money into the meter by 9:00 am. It was still cheaper than paying the $22/day for the parking. Also, watch the bill. We were charged for 2 movies that we didn't even watch and valet parking which we didn't even use (except the 1st night since the lot was full). They took off the charges so all was good. Overall, a great place to stay!

Only for travelers on a budget who get a great rate and have low expectations. The lobby is beautiful but the room was somewhat shabby and the staff were very pleasant but less than efficient.The food is mediocre at best and usually pretty unpalatable. I had to wait an hour for my dinner from room service.then was told erroneously that I coudl not charge it to my room I doubt that I'll return

Parking in Canada is extra.

The hotel is very easy to notice as soon as you get into the city. Inside the place is gorgeous. Great resturaunt as well as bar. The parking was very convenient underground with plenty of spaces. Cool elevators with windows where you can look out into the city as you go up or down. Computers in the lobby were very helpful to go online and look things up. Overall I would stay at this hotel again if i were visiting the area.

I loved the location of the hotel, cleanliness. Great staff and helpful. But my favorite, was the beds. Very comfortable mattress and pillows. I want to know what kind of matress so i can buy one! Thank you, Merci beaucoup! Happy New Year!
