Les Suites Hotel Ottawa - Ottawa

This is our favorite hotel in our favorite city. Close to Byward market and lots of great restaurants. We like having a suite with such a nice kitchen, a seperate bedroom, and laundry facilities.

Stayed in a standard 1 bedroom suite and had a great stay. The location was in walking distance to most of the cities attractions, restaurants, and shopping. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I like to stay at Les Suites in downtown Ottawa because of the location. It is so close to the canal and shopping and the market....you can't go wrong. I have stayed at Les Suites before in the past, but this stay I found the accommodation just a little rough around the edges. Not quite as clean as I would have expected....the diswasher needed to be replaced. There were no kitchen linens, a lot of the utensils I would have expected as standard were not there. Nevertheless, I would stay there again, because the location just can't be beat.

Excellent downtown location handy to Cora's for breakfast. That said it can be noisy with sirens and street traffic. You get a standard two bedroom apt circa 1970s? (Good size nothing fancy) in very good to excellent shape complete with everything you need for an extended stay. Slow elevators are expected during peak periods. Parking is attached but can be confusing to get to and from as you have to go through a private garage to get to the hotel's garage, you would think it would be the other way around. Staff at the front was always ready, polite and fast. I called for a wakeup call by pushing the specific button for that on Monday evening and the line was not answered. I called the operator and got the wake up call placed with her and it was received. The shower mixer valve was installed incorrectly so that the knob had to be turned in the opposite direction to get the desired temperature. It was reported and repaired same day! The sheers in the living room one side had the hem stitching come apart for about a one foot section which was causing it to hang in front of the electric heater; I reported this on checkout and can only assume it was repaired. The outside set of windows were not closed in the sliding door and second bedroom leading to inside icing due to condensation, I corrected this. The cleaning staff left the previous occupant's open soy milk and some other beverages in the fridge which could have caused quite a stink but thankfully did not. They also neglected to replace the single serving cream in the dish but there was milk. There was some trash under the sofa bed which can be seen when you raise the bed and the oven had some burnt debris left over from a self cleaning cycle. Nitpicking for sure but notice I was very pleased with the place as these are minor. I would recommend that you stay somewhere else so it doesn't get so busy and popular that they raise the rates and that I can't get a room next time I am up there.

Les Suites offers spacious rooms with kitchens and superb maid service. We considered this an excellent home away from home and feel spoiled by the roominess of the accomodations.

Another guest tried to enter the room later in the night. The hotel gave him the same room. It was scary. Other than that it was outstanding.

Meget god beliggenhet - ellers relativt enkel standard, men store rom.

Une salle de bain/wc pour six personnes c'est juste ! à part cela l'appartement est confortable. Pas de petit déjeuner sur place.
