Hotel Floride Etoile - Parijs

The hotel was very close to the Eiffel tower. Nice neighbourhood, we walked around close to midnight and it was so lively. Very nice resturants along the way, chinese, thai, french...close to grocery stores and subway stations. If you are taking the hop on and hop off bus, its 5 mins from the main stop. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpfull and spoke english. Our stay was comfortable.

This is a great hotel if you are not planning to spend your time in Paris sitting in your hotel room. The rooms are very small and a little run down. The location is great and the staff spoke english. This was my first time in Paris and I had heard stories about the french being rude. We did not experiance that at this hotel at all.

I found this hotel by searching online, looking for a non-chain hotel, and booked through Hotels.com. It's a very nice little place, comfortable and clean. The staff were excellent - friendly and courteous, and all spoke excellent English. The breakfast was nice, if a little pricey (EU10 for continental, EU16 including cereals, meats and cheeses). One complaint is that because we asked for a non-smoking room, we were forced to take a room with two single beds instead of a double (even though I'd requested a double). Not a huge tragedy, as it forced my partner and I to sleep closer together in one single bed! And this might have been a Hotels.com issue. The location was perfect for me, as it was close to the locations of my meetings. It's also very convenient to the Metro (Boissiere) and a short walk from Trocadero and the La Tour Eiffel, as the Arc du Triomphe. There are a number of great restaurants in the area (also pricey, though), including an Italian place called Convivium where we had two excellent meals.

It's a great hotel to stay at when you're in Paris. Very close to the Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triumph. The metro is close by as well so you can easily take the train and transfer from the Airport to get to this hotel. Very friendly staff!

This hotel is in a fantastic location between the Champs Elysees and the Eiffel Tower. It is conveniently located near the Metro line. It is in good condition and the staff are very nice. It is not flashy or modern, but it is very comfortable.

The hotel's customer service was outstanding. My wife and I arrived four hours before check-in time. Since we were both very tired, we asked to check in early, and the hotel personnel found us an open room and let us in early with no extra charge! Overall, the hotel is clean, neat and very comfortable. I would have rated it five stars if not for its small size room and location slightly further away from most tourist attractions.

Ideal location.no faults there!!! Room is incredibly small,floor dirty,overall appearance is tired looking. Perfect if you just want place to sleep,certainly didnt look forward to going back there every night. Most of staff are nice,some not so nice. Its ok,glorified hostel of you ask me.

The best thing about this hotel was it's location. We walked everywhere and missed nothing. Otherwise, it was not as pictured. The room seriously needs some updating. This would be a 2 star in the U.S. The shower was so tight, that I felt I couldn't reach everything and I'm not a large person. But, it was very clean and we got used to the small room. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. Housekeeping smiled and said good morning!! Phillipe was an absolute gem. Everyone at the desk seemed to speak english and the night staff was also very cheerful and friendly. Hard to find, anywhere. We did not try the breakfast. It looked small and basic. The area food was expensive, but, if you're willing to live off pastry, you will be well satisfied

I was given a smoking room after booking a non smoking room, I called reception once in room and was told I could not have a non smoking room until the next morning as all rooms were booked. As I am an asthma sufferer as is my daughter we had a very uncomfortable night in the room, however the next morning was given a non smoking room which was very pleasant.

Hotel was in a terrific location between the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomph. The room was extremely small, but it is my understanding that this is common in France (was my first time there). Just the same, that makes it very difficult for me to stay in for very long. The shower was also small almost to the point of restrictive. A large person would have a very difficult time here. Breakfast was simple and expensive, and Internet was not included. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. They spoke good English and helped us to get around. They also helped us to get out before a strike took effect in the city's transportation network. Overall, a pretty good hotel. If you don't go in with really high expectations (especially by American standards), then you should have a good stay.

Staff was wonderful very helpful accomodating and great location. Location walking distance to famous momuments and Metro right around the corner. Lots of Bistros in the area on every corner to be specific. The pastries out of this world and cafe so good so close by and a Post office around the corner to send those post cards.

The hotel was located close to restaurants, post office and stores, including Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumphe. Very nice and clean hotel. Everything was great!

Great location. Very hospitable and informative staff. Very clean. Room small. Limited amenities. Good price compared with other 3 star hotels in area. If you spend little time in your room this is a great place.
