Monte Carlo Resort & Casino - Las Vegas

The pool and the lazy river are excellent. But do they have to have the pop music really loud before 11am. It would be nice to have a quiet area to relax in after a hard night on the town instead they have speakers every 10 yards booming out the latest pop trash.

This was not a 4 star hotel at all!!!!!!! They have severe plumbing issues and rooms are unsanitary. I wished I never stayed there, ruined my vacation. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE, SPECIALLY FOR THESES PRICES.

My friends and I always stay at this hotel. It isnt the newest or fanciest, but how long are you actually in your room in Vegas anyways? The hotel is very clean and a nice place to stay for the price, you are always able to find a good deal here. The pool area is great, there is a lazy river, a wave pool and a couple of regular pool. Like I said we love this hotel and we stay here everytime we go because its a deal (very clean, and nice for a great price).

The times that we've stayed in Vegas, we've stayed at Monte Carlo. It has a great location among the southern end of the strip. The price is very convenient and affordable for any traveler. Well stay there the nex time we visit.

AT 12 Noon they turn on the loud speakers and it last until 5pm. It is really annoying to say the least.

great location and price, warm friendly service. Only compaint was breakfast buffet, food was cold,dry and not well prepared, management gave us voucher for another meal. Went back for lunch and food was great

Good services and easy check IN AND OUT. A good Place to stay for the money.

I spent only one night in the Monte Carlo and I have stayed here before once and it was good dollar for value. This particular time I sat down on the bed and it was covered in hair! Not my hair but as if someone gave themselves a haircut. It was all over both beds and on the sheets. It was gross! They definitely need to spend more time cleaning the rooms before letting others check into the rooms.

Very good quality hotel. Stayed here before. Having been spoilt in all Californian hotels the only shame is that something as trivial and important as internet access is nor comlimentary and rather expensive that should be free of charge

This hotel was a great 3 night stay in Las Vegas. Its at a perfect location. And has an amazing French Restaurant, Andres! The gym and spa were great as well.

Flat pannel tv and new cabinets will be a big change! 4 stars +

My husband and I traveled to Vegas for the weekend for his business and his company put us up in a hotel comparable in price to the Monte Carlo but inferior in every other way. After the first night, we switched to the MC and was blown away by the quality of service. The rooms were very clean (a vast improvement from our first stop), the environment was family friendly, and the price was very reasonable.

Great location and price still a trendy hotel

loved the hotel and VERY large room. wish it had coffee maker and refrig in room. construction next to Monte Carlo was a big inconvenience - once on the LONG construction walkway you were stuck.

No customer service but cheap!!!

I was in the process of driving across the country and we decided to stop off in Vegas on the way. I had never been to Vegas, and decided to try the Monte Carlo because it was right on the Strip. The location is pretty great, between everything. Outside of that, the room was in total disrepair. The TV console was broken. But more importantly, the AC was also broken. It was a difficult night when I returned to my room at 1 AM. The Monte Carlo compares poorly to a number of Holiday Inns that I've been to.

Stayed in the spa suite. Very light and bright. View of the strip. Romantic and roomy.

Clean room, nice staff and a very fun but pretty crowded pool area. I have stayed at the MC a few times and would love to see a renovation/upgrade - they could use new carpets, better mattresses, softer pillows and definitely NEW blankets.

I absolutely loved our room. It was extremely comfortable.

This was my first time in Las Vegas and I am so glad that I chose the Monte Carol Resort & Casino. The room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is in a great location to various attractions on the strip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a great room for the money. Absolutely worth it!

The bed comforter was dity and stained, I was not happy about that

We got a really outstanding rate for our 2 night stay at the Monte Carlo, so it was a great value for the money. The hotel is starting to show wear and tear that is not being kept up on (chips in the furniture, worn out bedding etc) so don't expect 5 star accomodations, but considering the price we paid, the good service, and location, all in all a good deal.

Great room for the money

Rooms are nice. Requested King - No Smoking. When I checked in I was told no Kings avaialble. Hotel was at 50% occupancy. I guess everyone wanted a King.. Took two hours and 4 phone calls to get internet access fixed. Cost is $15.00 per day. Food in Cafe was terrible. Ordered Rib Eye - Medium Rare. Took 25 minutes for food - resturaunt was 25% filled - Did not look or taste like Rib Eye and was delivered well done. I had to argue with Manager to get taken off my bill

My family had wonderful time with the pool, lazy river. It is a great place for family.

THis hotel was ok. we had to upgrade to a suite because the regular room was discusting. The hotel is convenient, but has no bars/nightclubs, so if you looking for a adult time and not family I would look at other options

This hotel does not offer coffee pots in the room. A ridiculous price for use of the internet for 24 hours online. When I decided to use it, it didn't work. I called the staff and asked them to come and fix it, they never showed up. There was no guest services book to tell you what the hotel offered or how long things stayed open. The pool is great for the children but it is only open from 10-7pm. This hotel claims to be children friendly but are far from it. I find that you can get a better deal at a no name hotel for half the price. This was my first trip to Vegas and I found if very disappointing. I do know I will give it another try but not this hotel. Most hotels after hearing this complaints would generally comp you the cost of the room but not this one just the cost of the internet. If you can stay at any other hotel I would highly recommend it.

Everyone enjoyed this getaway, from my 60 year old mother to my 10 year old daughter.

The only thing I didn't like is that there is a new "City Center" being built right next door and the building is much taller than the Monte Carlo which blocks any views of the strip.

Was looking forward to eating at two restaurants that weren't available at the time because they were being renovated.

I liked the lobby, the room we had and the food court that was downstairs. I'm not a big eater and it was great to go downstairs to just get a latte and a croissant.

IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT

The Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino is a nice hotel for vacationers. I stayed two nights there and I didnt much and I got more than I expected. If this hotel was a bit closer to the Bellagio, Venitian, it would be a great hotel. The good thing that is next to New York New York and Planet Hollywood. I would recomend this Hotel to anyone going for the first time to Vegas. The only downside to the Hotel was the pool. I think it was a bit small, I was looking forward for a diving board, but non here. Its only 5 feet and under.

Of all the hotels in Vegas, this was one of the only ones to close for a full day because of sprinkles......The pool was the main reason we picked this hotel.

First time at the Monte Carlo located on central strip next to New york New York and across from MGM. Older well maintained property, great value. Buffet was so so. However, El Diablos was awesome. Great food and drinks and happy hour specials from 3pm to 7pm. It gets packed there early. Very comfortable room, great service. We were impressed by waitress attention on the casino floor. Not sure if that has anything to do with the recession but we got plenty of free drinks while playing the slots.

We were very pleased with our room and our four nights at the Monte Carlo and would recommend it to any of our friends. The food court is really handy when you don't want a full service meal.

Nice Resturants, staff great, had a great time, Like Diablos, great Mexican food.

The room and casino was fine. Check in lady was very nice. The pool food and beverage was a huge rip off. They trap you out there and don't let you bring anything in from the food court inside there own hotel. They charge you twice the price for food that is 50 feet inside the hotel. They charge you $12.00 for a mixed drink or $7.00 for a beer that is free inside the casino for playing penny slots.

large room, well maimtained. Excellent shower and quality bathroom fixtures. quirt, clean and very convenient food court

I enjoyed staying this hotel very much. The room is always clean and people work at the hotel is very helpful.
