Saray Hotel - Granada

Dit hotel is zeer mooi en modern en erg ruim..., de 4 sterren meer dan waar! mischien iets verder dan andere hotels maar toch nog heel gunstig gelegen!

Goed bereikbaar vanaf de rondweg. Op ca. 20 min. lopen vanaf het stadscentrum met kathedraal. Mooie entree met gezellige lounge en bar. Zwembad aanwezig met iets te koud water. Mooi ruime kamer. Goed en ongedwongen restaurant. Parkeergarage onder hotel aanwezig.

Het hotel ligt naast congres gebouw en op loopafstand van het centrum. Daarnaast is het lekker op een zwembad met terras bij hotel te hebben. Met ruim 35 C was het heerlijk om aan het einde van de dag even in de ligstoel aan het zwembad te kunnen zitten. Kamer schoon en comfortabel.

Buitengewoon prettig hotel, net buiten het centrum. Ruime confortabele kamer, luxe badkamer, beide dagelijks keurig schoongemaakt. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet (met ? 12 beetje duur als je niet veel ontbijt). Prettige 24 uurs receptie, zeer tot hulp bereid, helaas maar beperkt Engels sprekend. Dat is lastig, maar heel gewoon in Granada.

We found the staff very help full.Hotel was very quite at night time, very few people stayed in the hotel for meals or evening entertainment preferring to go to the town centre.

Excellent value. New, clean hotel in nice location. Just a 5 minute walk to the downtown shopping area. Nice breakfast buffet with lots of choices for cereal, breads, meats, fruits, and usual scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc... Two inconveniences I noted are that 1) one must have electrical adapters. (Hotel that I am currently staying in has outlets compliant with both 220V European and US's 120V bladed plugs) and 2) my voice could not be heard by front desk for calls made for morning wakeup calls and front desk personal were clearly not willing to follow up. (I was told it was not a problem) so this required me to notify the desk in person, but that was OK as they were quite pleasant otherwise.

Modern, clean, very nice hotel. Approx 15 min walk from central Granada. Staff nearly all had good English. Design of the hotel is very attractive, glass elevators and nice pool area.

Took advice and parked on a street close by. Modern hotel with a welcome pool. Had booked tickets for the Alhambra online and picked them up the night before from the ticket office at the top of the hill. Used the local supermarket to buy cheap cokes and lunch. Hired a taxi to get up to the Alhambra first thing in the morning. Did the Generalife and rest of the site before entering the Nasrid palace at 11am. All very civilised and stunning architecture. Comprehensive breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh fruit. The venue is very popular for events e.g. weddings and anniversaries which means there is a real buzz around the place. Used the pool area to cool off in. Good value for money.

Manageable 10 minute walk to city center. Hotel is very nice and rooms are adequate size. Pool can get very crowded with limited lounge chairs. Overall, everything was great except for the fact that our wake-up call never went through and we missed out entry time at the Alhambra. I complained to the front desk and they did not offer to reimburse us for our tickets. We were able to get entry tickets for a later time.

We were really happy with our stay here. The interior of the hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and roomy, and the pool was a great place to relax. The location was a short walk to the city center and a five dollar cab to the Alhambra. I would stay here again, especially for the price.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and on site parking (additional cost) is a definite bonus as the parking in Granada is not great. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. Far enough away from the noise of the city but close enough to be there in no time. I'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

On the surface, this seemed to be a very smart hotel, with very modern furnishings. However, when I first went into my bedroom, I was overpowered by the smell of cigarette smoke, despite having requested a non-smoking room. I immediately went back to Reception and asked to change room - the reception staff looked rather fed up, but after keeping me waiting 5-10 mins, they gave me another room. However, there was also a smell of cigarette smoke in this room, although not as strong. I decided to put up with it for my 2 night stay, but it was not pleasant - especially since every time I left the window open to let some fresh air in, I would return to the room later to find the cleaning staff had shut it and drawn the heavy curtains across, making the room very dark, stuffy and smelly! A couple of other minor criticisms: (1) despite having a very posh flat screen TV, the only English channels were CNN and BBC World, and there was no sound on the BBC World channel. (2) When I went to use the swimming pool, I followed the signs to the lift specifically for the pool (not the general lifts), but when I came out of the lift at the bottom, I found myself surrounded by 3 locked doors, with no way out except to go back up in the lift again!

The staff at the Saray Hotel was extremely friendly and even upgraded us to a junior suite (including a jacuzzi tub). The hotel isn't in the heart of Granada, but near taxi's and buses making it a great location on the fringe of all of the action and none of the noise.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Location was a bit inconvenient from the downtown shopping areas, restaurants, etc. The room was smallish but adequate and quite clean. Did not have any meals there.

We only stayed at the Saray for one night but we had a brilliant nights sleep in a really comfortable bed. Lovely big, clean room and lovely view overlooking pool and mountains. The only downsides of this hotel is that our room key did not work (Usual card entry). The front desk gave us a key which obviously over rides the card lock and it worked fine after that but we got the impression it was a common malfunction as we heard another guest having problems with their card entry. Also the hotel was a fair walk out of central Granada. It is certainly more than 15 minutes walk to the Alhambra. It is uphill for half the way from the hotel but takes more like 30 minutes on foot from the hotel to the entrance of the Alhambra. 15 minutes walk to get into central Granada. So unless you like lots of walking you might be better off staying in a hotel closer to town or get taxi's. We travelled to Granada via bus and got a taxi from the bus station to the airport which was from one side of town to the other. About 8 Euro's in a taxi. We then caught a train out of Granada. Taxi cost 5 Euro's from hotel to train station. Lovely hotel but keep the location in mind.

This is a modern functional hotel worthy of it's four star rating in terms of service and facilites although once inside you could be anywhere in the world; there is nothing particularly traditionally Spanish about it's style. It is however an ideal location for visiting central Granada and the Alhambra palace. It is also only a ten minute walk from some good Tapas bars and other restaurants. Friendly staff and high standards of hygiene and cleanliness with a very good breakfast. Did not experience any other meals in the hotel and did not use the bars. Pool suffered from periods during the day when the sun did not shine on it due to it's structure but as we were out sight seeing a lot this was not a problem to us. The room was exceptionally well equiped with high tech gadgets but could not see properly out of the window and it felt a little clostrophobic.

Wnt with family with 2 intercommunicating rooms. Good lunch and beautiful. Very near everywhere and we walked to Alhambra and old city. Highly recommneded. Great breakfast for hungry teenagers. Will return.

the hotel was easy to find with sat nav, had underground parking at a surcharge 16.50 euro, our room was good, except we would have welcomed tea and coffee facilities, and a double rather than two singles. other wise we had a fab stay in granada.

This was a very good hotel. Price was great, front desk very helpful and rooms were superb. About 3/4 mile walk from sights and restaurants

We were delighted with this hotel. It was modern, clean, and very quiet. It's a bit off the beaten path, about a 30 - 45 minute walk from the Alhambra. Getting back to the room felt like a reward after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel is a little out of the way, but it is very close to where the bus to the airport departs. That makes it very convenient when leaving Granada! That is not to say that we wanted to leave Granada. The only complaint I had was that the wifi setup was very poor. We were on the 5th floor, and could only get decent reception in one area of the room.

Easy to get to the Alhambra by taxi and the staff was very helpful in recommending other activities. Room was small but clean and had all the necessities for a good stay.

This hotel's decore has a striking fountain in the foyer and a beautiful garden that manages to invoke the grandure and peacefulness and beauty of Granada's famout Alhambra. For us this was the perfect hotel to stay in while absorbing the culture of this wonderful city.

Det eneste aberet med hotellet var at sengene var litt hårde, og det gjorde vi oppmerksom på. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men likevel i gangavstand dit. Flott basseng, god mat i restauranten eller i baren. Hyggelig betjening. Med andre ord et hotell som anbefales.

Alt i alt fuld ttilfredsstillende hotel. Retaturanten er bespisning uden atmosfære - men det findes jo i byen. Alt fungerede pefekt og effektivt.

Trivelig, sentrumsnært hotell. Meget god og variert frokost. Hyggelig betjening.

God beliggenhed med garage. God service også selv om der vare et meget stort selskab på hotellet. Godt værelse, god restaurant og hjælpsom reception. Et hotel jeg varmt kan anbefale.

Das Hotel ist eine gelungene Modernfassung der Strukturelemente der Jahrhundertealten Alhambra. Alles ist sehr edel und excellent gepflegt.

L'hôtel est à 15 mn à pieds du centre. Il est situé dans un quartier calme, ce qui est très agréable pour passer de bonnes nuits pésibles. Le seul bémol est pour la piscine, elle n'est ouverte que de 12h30 à 20H. C'est dommage on ne peut pas en profiter le matin.

Difficile à trouver pour une première fois, hôtel sympathique malgré des groupes de mômes assez bruyants. Les consommations et petits-déjeuners sont vraiment trop chers.

L'hôtel est très bien placé à 5 min à pied du centre ville et 20mn à pied de l'Alhamanbra. La piscinne est un plus non négligeable même si l'eau est assez fraîche (surprennant quand il fait 33°C) et que le carrelage vous brule les pieds. L'hôtel à un très bon standing. La chambre double standard est très confortable (Literie, TV écran plat, vraie climatisation, salle de bain spacieuse et fonctionnelle...) Le service est assez moyen pour un hotel de cet catègorie (personnel peu aimable, les employés sont très limités en Anglais et ne parle absolument pas Français, pas d'infos touristiques...)

Posizione tranquilla e centrale vicino al Palazzo dei congressi.Albergo moderno e funzionale.

der Komfort war sehr gut; das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns sehr überzeugt; das Personal war freundlich; das Hotel überzeugte durch seine Ausstattung; Lage zum Stadtzentrum war gut. Die Benutzungszeiten für das Schwimmbad waren ungünstig.

ottimo quattro stelle. Elegante e piacevole la zona piscina all'esterno; comode e funzionali le camere. Non troppo lontano dal centro della città, si raggiunge con una piacevole passeggiata. Assolutamente da consigliare.
