Excalibur Hotel Casino - Las Vegas

ruime kamers met ruime badkamer en inloopdouche; geen frigo; ijsdispenser op verdieping aanwezig; kamer met zicht op een muur, maar was bij nader inzien het meest rustigste en fris (ruisende airco was niet nodig 's nachts); casino heel rokerig, slechte afzuiging; 4 zwembaden met 1 ervan enkel voor volwassenen, wel luide muziek aan zwembaden, veel restaurants en bars; goede ligging (aan Strip); opgelet voor time share-promoties (duurt minstens 3.5u ipv 2 u zoals gezegd)

Hotel zit naast grote hotels als Luxor en Mandalay Bay en direct op de Strip. Hotel ziet er goed uit en kamers zijn prima.

Ligging gunstig aan het bigin van de strip, kamers zijn goed, maar mogen tenzijnertijd ook wel eens een opknapbeurt hebben. Mooi Casino met gratis live music , diner in restaurant steakhouse zeer goed, wel duur, mag wel voor deze kwaliteit. [ leuk hotel, aanrader]

prima hotel op de Strip. niet het exclusiefste, maar wel een van de gezelligste en met de beste prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. ruime kamers, super casino, en mega buffet!

Excalibur is een mooi hotel met een gunstige ligging op de strip. We hadden een widescreen room met uitzicht op het geweldige zwembad. Wij vonden dit hotel zeer geschikt voor kinderen!! Het inchecken en uitchecken verliep vlot, geen lange wachtrijen. Het enige nadeel (wat uiteindelijk toch een voordeel werd) was dat we door een manager werden aangesproken dat ze ons leuke kortingen konden geven voor shows etc. Nou dat wilden we wel, we moesten 50 dollar betalen en kregen dan 2 kaartjes voor het tournament of kings (hele leuke dinershow, kost normaal 65 dollar p.p.) en 75 dollar voor te eten of te gokken. Toen we ja hadden gezegd, vertelden ze ons dat het enige wat we moesten doen, was hun nieuwe complex gaan bekijken en dan kregen we ook nog een gratis ontbijt of lunch. Nou bleek het dus om time sharing te gaan, en hebben ze ons 2 uur lang geprobeerd zo'n time share appartement aan te smeren. Maar goed daar zijn we dus niet op ingegaan en hebben er een gratis lunch, 2 tickets voor een show een diner van 50 dollar en 50 dollar (25 dollar van de 75 gebruikt voor te gokken en er 50 gewonnen) aan overgehouden. Maar ik had het fijner gevonden als ze ons van begin af aan hadden verteld waar het om handelde. We vonden de strip leuk om gezien te hebben, maar mega druk, Fremont street was prachtig, niet zo druk en heel mooi, en deze hele zomer spelen er bandjes en is alles in de hippie sfeer, erg leuk.

we zijn hier 3 dagen geweest met vrouw en dochter. de reden dat ik dit hotel koos was oa. voor het zwembad. prachtig groot en netjes. kamers zijn ruim voldoende qua comfort en ruimte. het personeel in het hotel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. we zouden hier zo weer naar toe gaan. een echte aanrader.

Kom net terug uit Las Vegas en ik heb 1 hotelovernachting gehad in Excalibur en is prima bevallen.Prima ligging aan de strip, erg fijn en uitgebreid zwembad en niet te vergeten de dagpas om 3 x te kunnen eten voor $ 25 , ( ontbijt, lunch en avondeten ) Qua prijs ben ik ook zeker tevreden,Gewoon prima hotel.

Een hotel dat op zijn 'Amerikaans' perfect wordt bestuurd. Begint al bij aankomst met het (laten) parkeren van de auto (gratis service). Inchecken lijkt soms op vliegveld, maar dat kan ook niet anders met een hotel met 4000 (!) kamers. Het hotel ligt naast NewYorkNewYork en naast MGM en is met die andere hotels via een loopbrug verbonden. Het casino is groot, maar erg levendig. Nog een tip: het buffetrestaurant. Ga je voor 18:00 uur dan betaal je voor twee personen (two for one) in totaal 17,50 dollar en kan je op je gemak genieten van een fantastisch buffet. Wij hebben van het hotel genoten en zouden het iedereen durven aanbevelen!

Prima hotel voor een vriendelijke prijs. Heb een week daarvoor in het MGM gezeten. Dat is echt 3 klassen beter. Maar nette kamers (groot) en met de lift zit je meteen in het casino

Het hotel mag dan een van de oudere hotels van LV zijn, het ziet er alleszins nog prima uit. De ontvangst is op z'n Las Vegas's: na afzetten door de airport taxi eerst een heel eind door de zalen met gokkasten lopen om bij de receptie te komen, en daarna weer het hele eind terug. Maar na een paar dagen Vegas weet je dat alle hotels je dat aandoen: naar de monorail is ook eerst 5 minuten door het MGM lopen, en van de monorail naar bv. het Venetian is ook eerst 5 minuten door Harrah's... Hotel is ons goed bevallen, zeker gezien de prijs. Ruime kamers, rustig, met een redelijk ontbijtbuffet (dat was dan wel weer wat prijzig...). Inchecken en uitchecken ging redelijk vlot, alleen was ik een beetje verbaasd over de 1 dollar per dag 'local telephone calls' charge die ik moest betalen. Men onderkende dat ik niet gebeld had, maar 'dat is een vergoeding die we alle gasten aanrekenen...'. Na ja, kost je de kop niet maar is toch vreemd.

Excalibur is a little old and dated, and could do with some refurbishment of the rooms, but everything was clean and comfortable. The room was a good size, with plenty of hanging space and drawers, and a small table and two chairs. Despite the noise and general hubbub of any casino hotel, the room was quite and peaceful. Good aircon too!

Very good hotel .Will definatly go again. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom , two double beds and a flat screen tv. Very lively at night,in an excellent position on the strip with the tropicana,mgm grand and new york new york on three opposite corners with good connection to all and also to the luxor and mandalay bay hotel by a small shuttle train.We found Las Vegas very busy but then again it was labour day weekend.

The Excalibur is an inexpensive option in Vegas. It's not ritzy at all, which I didn't expect anyway so that's fine. I didn't like the setup of the pool situation. There are 4 smallish pools. They should've just had one big one that was better. The smaller pools get too crowded. They are also all very shallow. Maybe like 3-4 feet tops.

Overall we were satisfied with the hotel. We had children and did not appreciate walking through the casino area, complete with dancers, to get to the room. The concierge was less than helpful. The room was a nice size, pretty clean, comfortable enough and there was a nice pool area.

Stayed Just 1 Nite over Labor Day weekend. Went to see a concert at another hotel on a Sunday Nite. Ive stayed at Excalibur before for the same reasons. Ive never had a bad experience with Excalibur hotel. Just FYI I had prepaid for the room months in advance, but was charged a resort fee, when I checked in I was not expecting that.

Excalibur has been our first choice for Hotels when we stay in Vegas. We have stayed at other more pricey Hotels, although those are great places, Excalibur cannot be beat based on price and location!

Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Granted, we were out drinking more than anything, but the staff was friendly and helpful in providing us with information to navigate around the hotel and the strip when we were exceptionally hammered. 4 stars-would give 5 if they threw in a free foot massage.

The hotel looks good and was comfortable but the service was very poor. First, we asked for a smoking room and they provided us a non smoking room. We called and they made arrangements for a smoking room but there was no thermostat in that room. We called and the help desk person told us that they will be sending someone to take a look. We waited for half an hour and called again and got the same response. After half an hour we talked to the supervisor. 15 minutes later a person was at the door with the keys of a different room. So, at the end we spend a total of around 2 hours to reach the right room. No one wants to waste this much time when you are in the most happening place "LAS VEGAS".

Great for the Price

I read the reviews about this hotel pretty extensively before picking a place in Vegas. The room was definately big enough and was centrally located on the Strip. The Hard Rock Cafe (newly opened) was right across the street and there were bridges to other casinos if one isn;t enough. There is a fee for delivery of room service and a per day resort fee. The gym and pool were very nice and the room service was good. All the staff gave good directions to guide me to my shows.

Hotel had lots of less expensive food options $25 eat all day or the 20/25 soup to nuts dinners in the stakehouse and italian rest. Only complaint was the beds were really firm. But other than that it was well worth it. Close to New York New York, mgm, Lexor, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, and Hooters Hotel and with the monorail at MGM you can get anywhere on the strip if you dont feel like walking.

I had to book a hotel last minute. I was expecting the hotel to be smokey and dirty from reading previous posts but it was the only hotel that fit into my budget so I had to book it. It was very clean and the room did not smell like smoke at all. I was on the 8th floor so that may be why but I was really pleased with my experience there. Check in was really fast and easy

When we got there our TV did not work, we called maintanence and the guy that fixed the tv was very unprofessional, was cussing and complaining about the room and the maids. The front desk did not want to help. Also,there was drilling at 10 am.

The room we were given had a terrible view, it looked out over an adjoining rooftop, with views of the air conditioning and other industrial type equipment. The comforter in the room was torn. The room type we requested (1 king bed) was not available, but "we can get you one for an upgraded price". Dirty glasses were outside our door upon check-in, they were still there two days later.

The hotel was perfect for the money and location. Since Tower 2 has just been renovated, I highly recommend staying there (just pay a little extra if you can afford to). The only thing that can definitely be improved is there food and buffet quality. It was probably one of the worst buffets I have been too, but since you're on the strip it doesn't really matter since there are other great places near by.

This hotel looks good from the outside but not so on the inside. No atmosphere. Parking difficult. Restaurant service very slow. Disappointing, glad to get out and into other hotels which were more lively. Would not revisit.

Got yelled by the card dealer at the spanish 21 tabel, it was our first trip to vegas so this blows our chances of staying here or gamble my money in this hotel again. I complaint to the manager on duty but did not even get an apology...we quit gambling there that night. All dealers should be customer serviced trainned.

The hotel rate was excellent along with the all day buffet special made this an unbeatable combination

The room was nice. There was no soap or shampoo in the room when we got there, but we called and they sent some up right away. The parking garage is on the opposite side of the hotel from the registration desk, so it's quite a walk. You have to go into the casino, then wind your way all the way through the maze of slot machines over to the registration desk. It's not fun if you have heavy bags. The girl at the desk said that they do have free valet, (they work for tips) but it was a bit late by then. Also, they charged me a "resort fee" when I checked in, on top of what I had already paid. I don't like it when they just make up fees to get more money out of people. I told the girl that for that fee, they should have come out to the parking garage to get our bags. She didn't like that comment.

This is a hotel that is in the middle of everything. It's a great place to stay.

Great room for the money. Great location on the strip. Great buffet at Round Table resturant. The only complaint I had was room smelled of cigarette smoke.

I really enjoyed my stay at Excalibur from August 29 to Sept 2. I read some previous reviews about certain issues but found most them not to be the case. Upon my arrival, it only took less than a minute to check in to the hotel. Since I was a solo traveler, the room was more than spacious enough for me. During my stay the room, was cleaned on a consistent basis. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The maid that cleaned my room on Aug 30, and Aug 31 was very courteous even though I was in the room until late in the afternoon. When I took a lesson on craps, the dealers were very encouraging and amusing! When I had to check out, I did not have to wait at all! The valet was excellent and convenient! My only criticisms are that I thought the pool should stay open until 9 and the sauna, locker rooms, and inside jacuzzi should be included in the hotel rate. Thanks!

the place was decent....kinda very outdated, but otherwise fairly clean and in reasonable condition.

If you want to stay at the strip without spending too much and still get a good room, this is the hotel to stay at. We upgraded to the widescreen room which gave us a big room with a 42" flatscreen, which was nice. Just make sure that you ask for view over the pool.

Not only was this hotel outdated and dirty, but they keep thier old "props" in the same parking lot guest use...doors chained up, room carpet from the 80's and springs in your back all night. Awesome.

Our room was clean but did not have several things that my friend's room had (who was in the same hotel in the same type of room) like: soap shampoo extra roll of toilet paper magazines and brochures of Las Vegas stationary and envelopes It was as though the room had been cleaned but housekeeping failed to restock anything.

I hadn't stayed at the Excalibur in a few years and honestly was not that excited to do so, but it was the best bang for my buck. Was I surprised when we entered our room! They must have remodeled recently, brand new beautiful furniture, beautiful bathroom fixtures, a huge flat-screen television, huge comfy bed. It exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to stay there again. I basically did not want to come home!

This is a decent hotel for the price. The only issue I had was the large amount if kids at this hotel. The room was nice and big and always clean
