K&K Hotel Fenix - Praag

Niet alleen de ligging van het hotel is perfect, maar ook de uitstekende kamers en goede zorg (zelfs de autoramen worden gewassen als je de auto in de parkeergarage stalt) zijn van bovengemiddelde kwaliteit. De verwachtingen die gewekt worden door alle recensies worden ook waargemaakt! Dit kom je zelden tegen in de praktijk. Bij een volgende bezoek zullen we zeker weer teruggaan naar K&K Fenix!

Dit hotel is erg goed. Het personeel heeft service hoog in het vaandel staan. Gabriela aan de balie snapt hoe ze een gast het naar zijn zin moet maken met een prima service. Het is aan te raden om een taxi via het hotel te bestellen die je van het vliegveld haalt. Makkelijk en niet duur. De kamers zijn prima en het ontbijt is erg goed. In de straat zitten een paar nachtclubs maar daar heb je eigenlijk geen last van.

Twijfel niet over uw verblijf in dit hotel. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en de Engelse taal machtig. De kamer was zeer comfortabel; ruim, licht, net en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijtbuffet smaakte goed, we kwamen niks te kort; voor iedereen wat wils.De ligging was zeer gunstig; in een zijstraat van de grote winkelpromenade en op loopafstand van de oude stad (en de metro). Bij een volgende bezoek aan Praag boeken slapen wij hier zeker weer!

Midden in het centrum gelegen, 200 meter van het metrostation Mustek en daarmee een makkelijke en snelle verbinding met het vliegveld! Alle bezienswaardigheden in het centrum op loopafstand. Ook Karels Brug op 10-15 min lopen. Echt super!!

Zeer centraal gelegen, prettig en goed hotel. Hoewel in de naaste omgeving van nightclubs, is hier in het hotel zelf totaal niets van te merken. Het heeft een moderne en goed verzorgde uitstraling, ruime, zeer goed verzorgde kamers en een uitstekende service. Het ontbijtbuffet mag er zijn! De medewerk(st)ers zijn erg vriendelijk en servicebereid. Wij zijn hier 5 nachten geweest en hadden ons geen betere plaats kunnen denken: bijna alle bezienswaardigheden waren te voet bereikbaar en voor het overige waren de tram en metro in de onmiddellijke nabijheid, evenals de vele winkels en restaurants. Zonder meer aan te bevelen!

Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel, keurige kamer en superschoon sanitair.

Excellent hotel in a very good location very friendly and helpful staff would recommend this hotel to all good breakfast,gym and sauna facilties were given as complimentary and easy to access from the airport by public transport just get out of the airport and get the 119 bus get off at the terminal and get the metro to the museum stop and the hotel is approx 500 yds away.just ger a 26 kr ticket as the journey only takes about 30 mins

We had a great stay at the K&K Hotel Central, because the Fenix had some problems and couldn't fit us in. They booked us into their Central branch smoothly though, and paid for our taxi over there. Breakfast was excellent, the location was great, and the staff all very helpful.

This is a quiet hotel in a side street just off the main shopping area. The breakfast is great and the staff are polite and helpful. Our room 414 was fine ...apart from a cobweb above the bed ...and dusty side tables.....also the carpet was never hoovered the entire 6 days we were there...but the bed and bathroom were clean. 8 out of 10.

The hotel has a great location, not far from the central location and close to the metro. You can even walk to most of the major attractions. Our room was very spacious.

Located in the new town, KK Fenix is ideal if you like to shop. The square (or oblong!) is lined with many stores you'd recognise, Mango, Zara, Debenhams.... and is less than a minutes walk form the hotel. The metro is a five-minute walk away and two stops away from the old town and river. It serves two of the three metro lines. The Natural History Museum is also 5 mins away and sits at the top of the square. The State Opera is also nearby, being a 10 min walk away. Breakfast is served until 12 on weekends, which was a nice change, although they do begin to clear everything away at 11.30. The hotel is situated on a street with 2 very large cabaret clubs but we felt safe, as everyone kept themselves to themselves (we were 4 twenty something girls). The staff were extremely helpful and answered all out questions. The business centre was well equipped with three desktops and free internet and did not charge for print outs which was refreshing. We checked out just after 12pm and were not reminded via a call that we should have been out at 12pm and were not charged either. The minibar was well stocked and tea and coffee was also available in the rooms.

Loved this hotel! Spacious rooms, great staff. Breakfast was satisfactory. Although situated near a couple of cabarets it didn't effect our stay one bit. The Mexican across the street is also recommended. Close to the centre. Highly recommended place to stay.

We have stayed in many European hotels, and this one is certainly among the best. In fact, for pure value, it is the best deal we have ever found. Great staff, superior facilities, e.g. elegant breakfast room. And the breakfast itself is second to none. Very modern but friendly hotel.

I stayed with a friend for four nights at the K&K Fenix. Like all K&K hotels I've visited, the room was extremely comfortable, the staff helpful and knowledgeable, the breakfast incredible. The hotel is located in the midst of strip clubs, however. It's not the hotel for someone easily put off by the sites and sounds of roudy, drunken guys and a red light district vibe. However, the hotel itself was quiet and safe. It's a short walk to the old town quarter and very close to a metro station (for highly recommended trips out to the non-touristy areas of Prague).

Hotel staff extremely helpful re trips, transport etc and even lent out umbrellas for the evening showers! Breakfasts were super with a wide selection. However, when returning to the hotel at night, you have to run the gamut of "greeters" for three red-light type clubs/ theatres. All good natured though.

Nice clean hotel within 10 minutes walking distance of the old town. Is in the same street as 3 sex clubs but we never had any problems.

it was our first visit to Prague and we wanted to stay in a hotel close to the centre. We chose the Fennix as it had got good reviews on Trip Advisor. Well the reviews were right. It is a fab place to stay within yards of Wenceslas Square. Our room was really large (Room 311 if anyone wants to book it). Eight channels were available in English on the flat screen TV. The beds were very comfortable and the room was fully serviced every day. A treat awaited us each evening - a little box of chocolates or fruit. This was a lovely touch. Free internet service in the room was a great addition - you can also get free internet downstairs. The staff all spoke English and were friendly and polite. We had a late flight when we were leaving and our bags were stored for us. Breakfast was of high quality with English and/or continental choices available. Everything was brill and I will be advising any of my friends going to Prague to stay at this hotel. I can't fault anything. Thank you all for a wondrful stay.

I found this hotel to be exactly as the other travellers had said already about it... Nice decor, friendly staff, rooms were cleaned to top condition everyday... no complaints here...

DIRECTIONS TO HOTEL: 119 bus from front of airport to Metro station (last stop). Metro to "Museum". Walk away from giant museum down avenue, take 2nd left street to hotel. Location: Great (heads up: between 2 strip clubs, but VERY central, VERY safe.) Breakfast: Continental standard. There's free champagne at the end of the table too! I'm a 26-year old F traveling from Ireland going solo for a 3-day weekend of sightseeing. Here's what I thought: Spa: Really relaxing! Try it out while you're there, follow directions on the wall Service: Very helpful, great English, gave directions to trains etc. Overall: More than I expected. Very happy!

Good location, good service, good room

Service was great, the breakfast buffet was plenty and varied and as other reviewers have mentioned, the fact that there were cabarets next to the hotel was not really a problem. Great location, just two blocks away from the National museum, just off Wenceslas Square.

we travelled as a group of 8 people aged between 55-62. we were impressed with the hotel fenix. it was very comfortable and clean. the staff were professional and very helpful. the breakfast was excellent and included fresh fruit various breads meats cheeses and hot items.there was also complementary tea and coffee in the reception area. internet was also free. the location was excellent. very central and just a few minutes walk to wenceslas square. the nearby 'cabaret' clubs will realise quite quickly if you have any interest and if not will not give you any hassle. we just exchanged friendly banter as we passed.i recommend a nearby restaurant COMO for quality ,service and reasonable prices.i recommend this hotel highly

the room was very adequate. loved the bed, perhaps best night of sleep I had in all of Europe. the bistro was amazing, I suggest anyone who goes get the K+K Club Sandwich.

The hotel kk Fenix was first class I had read reviews and have to say I wasnt disapointed the hotel was clean comfortable the room was lovely peacefull the bed was the most comfy bed with so soft quilts and pillows a perfect nights sleep the breakfast was one of the best i have ever had chamapgne every type of juice cooked food cold buffet salad cereals lots of hot drinks cheeses ham cakes fresh fruit I could go on and on the waitress were very friendly and pleasant spoke good english

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it has wonderful staff and an excellent breakfast. It is ideally located for the walking tourist. I hope to go back again next year if the price is the same.

lovely hotel, very relaxed and peaceful with attractive furnishings and comfortable beds. great breakfast too! slightly quirky place and all the staff were really nice. good internet access and very central situation, only slight drawback was the presence of two cabaret bars close by, a bit sleazy but the hotel was soundproofed aand not noisy at all. we would definitely try another kk+k hotel and return to this one if we come back to prague.

Staying only one night, we booked in to two single rooms. The single rooms contained a double bed but the room was compact. However, everything else made up for that-cleanliness, comfort, facilities and you can even have a champagne breakfast included in the price. The breakfast was fantastic and the porridge particularly wonderful. The internet is not wireless in the rooms so you had to stay working at the desk.

We received a warm, friendly welcome on arriving at the hotel. The check-in process was straight forward and completed quickly without being rushed. The reception (and all staff) had excellent English and outlined the hotel facilities and dining areas, bar, internet lounge, etc. The receptionist also gave us a map of Prague and a number of leaflets on things to do, and see, in the city. Our room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with all the facilities you would expect from a good standard 4 Star Hotel i.e. mini-bar, safe, complimentary toiletries, etc. The bed was comfy and a decent size for the price of the room. The TV reception and channel choice was also excellent. The Hotel is located in a side street which comes as a surprise, as the main photo of the hotel leads you to be believe the entrance is much more open or exposed. However, the street is also clean, safe and bustling with people during both the day and evening. The hotel is literally a minute's walk to Wenceslas Square which has plenty of choice of eating and drinking places. The hotel is also a minute walk the Metro station which is handy for getting around the city. Overall, the hotel was an excellent place to stay and is perfect for a short break in Prague!

Hotel was well positioned to everything. The staff where polite. With the hotel being modern it helped. I liked the touch of having champagn being available for breakfast most people did not know it. I was nervous about picking a hotel in Prague. But was well impressed. A good 4 star hotel.

Two night clubs in same road;No problem with windows shut; Air-conditioning brilliant; Perfect position for Main Square; Excellent staff, comfort, quality and breakfast.

The K&K Fenix is a great hotel. Beautiful rooms, nice staff, great breakfast. It is 1 block from Wencelas Square. They have a parking garage for 16 euro/day and they let park there until 4pm after checking out at no extra charge. The neighborhood is safe, but there are a number of strip clubs on the street that make it look a little sketchy. That said, I would definitely stay there again.

Fab hotel even though we got a land when we arrived as it is beside two strip clubs however it didnt make any difference although it felt a little seedy. Fantastic location close to everything.

The hotel was perfect for sight seeing and shopping. Staff very friendly and the hotel was spotless. Great variety of food for breakfast. Easy access by bus & metro from the airport.

THIS HOTEL IS IDEALLY SITUATED JUST OFF THE MAIN STREET EVERYWHERE IS EASILY ACCESSED. EVEN THOUGH THE CABARET CLUBS ARE CLOSE THERE IS NO TROUBLE AND I FOUND THE HOTEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. THE STANDARD ROOMS ARE NOT THAT BIG BUT WHAT BIT OF TIME YOU SPEND IN YOU ROOM IT CATERS FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE TRYING TO STAY CLOSE TO ALL THE SITES

Clean and comfortable hotel with good breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff. There are cabaret clubs in the same street but they did not present any problems.

The K+K Fenix is a good value hotel, the rooms were very clean and modernall be it smaller than we expected. The staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was good enough to set you up for the day, a full range. The location of the hotel leaves a little bit to be desired. Although it is just off Wenceslas sq. it is on a side street surrounded by caberet bars. We are a couple in our late 30's so it did not really bother us as we walked past. We were not hassled at all by the bouncers etc. stood outside to come in. However i said to my wife, that my Mother would not like this at all, as she would find it intimidating. It is however just a 10 min stroll through some nice streets to the old town sq. My only other complaint was the fact we ordered an iron to the room 3 times before we actually gave in as it was always promised but never appeared. All round a great place to stay and we would certainly go back.

It literally was a few steps from the square. Quite modern, very clean, great breakfast buffet. I'd certainly recommend this to anyone - great value.

Dejligt hotel centralt i Prag - herfra kan man gå til alt. Fin morgenmad , alt er pænt og rent .

Svært god frokost, brød, pålegg og drikke. Flott service i resepsjonen Dumt med sex-clubb i samme gate, uro

god beliggenhet. flott frokostbuffe. god service

All in all a great Hotel except for the many Cabarets that are right next to the Hotel with very annoying Hustlers that cannot leave you alone. Shame as the Hotel is nice despite its small size and yes the Breakfast is Good. Good Value for money.

Meget god service fra resepsjonen med hensyn til å foreslå aktiviteter og legge til rette for utflukter. Ordnet med transport og bestillinger på en elegant måte! Litt "tvilsomt" naboskap med strippeklubber og plagsomme innkastere - uten at dette var noe stort problem
