Crystal Lodge Hotel - Whistler

Room was generally very nice. Room was very dusty and bed was very uncomfortable. I stayed at the Pan Pacific (also in Whistler) a few years back and overall I think the Pan Pacific was significantly better. Also, I would thibk that if I can get free WiFi in a Comfort Inn, I should be able to do the same in an upscale hotel in one of the best ski resort in the world.

The Crystal Lodge is a wonderful place to stay in Whistler. Location is in heart of Whistler Village, with coffee, shops, and restaurants galore right at your doorstep. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. The room itself was very clean and large, with the comfiest beds. The small kitchen included small fridge, sink and microwave, and also had 4 bowls, mugs, plates, wine glasses, can opener, and silverware. Bathroom had a large shower and "getting ready" area. I particularly enjoyed having the Starbucks located within the hotel! All in all, a fantastic place to stay "in the heart of it all". I'll definitely stay there again.

The Crystal Lodge was clean; had a great location and very friendly staff. We brought our 2 bulldogs and they were made to feel very welcome.

Hotel location great. Generally well maintained. However, our "traditional" room was very outdated, beds were uncomfortable and air conditioner was extremely loud and awakened me frequently during the night. I would stay at this hotel again but would upgrade to the newer rennovated section of hotel and pay the increased cost. It worked for 2 nights but if I had stayed longer, I definitely would have wanted a more spacious room with upgrades.

Accommodations were great. The room was spacious, attractively decorated, and well equipped. The hotel sat in the middle of all the activity so we didn't have to move our car which was especially nice since we had to pay $18 per day to park. The valet service was free and prompt when it was necessary for us to leave. The hotel's restaurant "The Old Spaghetti Factory" had great service and wonderful food which made the 1:15 wait for two worthwhile.

Hotel was in the heart of Whistler center. Very satisfied except for the uncomfortable mattress...our king sunk in the middle.

We booked the room for our 10th Anniversary trip and had a great time, we wanted to stay longer.

Crystal Lodge is right on the pedestrian mall for The Whistler Village. Location is great. It was hot when we visited so we wanted pool time - the pool was too small and there was little seating; the pool and hot tub where squeezed into an unappealing area on the road. The room was comfortable - good bed - but not fancy. We had to pay for internet access.

Had a great stay in the heart of Whistler Village. Easy parking for the car you will not need til the trip out. Good price too. Would recommend

We had a fantastic room at the Crystal Lodge. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony watching the sunset and the mountain view. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The room with king bed seemed small, but every other aspect of our stay was top notch -- perfect location, super comfy bed, clean room, warm and friendly staff, and close to everything. We would stay at Crystal Lodge again but try to get a room with queen-sized bed. The price is right!

We went into the lobby and thought gee, this is going to be nice. Well, the section of the hotel we were in was old and tried to update. For a 3+ star rating we were not impressed. Wow, it had robes, nice but did not use. The room was small but had everything you needed. Not happy about getting there and then wanting a charge for parking and internet per day. They were kind to make the parking complimetary. I guess it is a resort area and we should expect all the extra charges.

This lodge was adequate for an off-season stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. A little pricey for what you got but expected for the area.

Really loved the Chrystal Lodge. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great. Our only complaint was that the toilet on our room had occasional "flushing" problems.

Great hotel, right in the middle of all the action, park the car and you can walk to everything. You are right in the "Village". Great hotel and location, especially for the money!!!

We had a non functioning remote control and no iron or ironing board. Both problems were fixed right away with a phone call. You can't beat the location. We booked the hotel without having ever been to Whistler and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves right in the center of the village.

Considering what we paid for the room, we were very well pleased with the Crystal Lodge. The location can't be beat. You are literally just a few steps from dozens of restaurants and coffee shops. Also just a few steps away are the Zip-Trek tour and the ski lifts. Our room looked down on the Village Stroll, so we could see all the activity of the town. Just perfect. My only complaints: The elevators are TERRIBLY slow, and one of them was broken when we were there. Also, the daily parking fee seemed a bit high to me.

Can't get much closer to the lifts. They have a ski valet close to the lift in the Carleton building that's included in the price of the hotel.

Very impressed with the hotel from the minute I walked in, impressive lobby, friendly staff and nice room. Small but nice pool area and great location.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend here for a mountain biking trip, and upon walking in, immediately felt like the staff were old friends! They were wonderful, helpful, and patient with us. They also recognized us and took time to ask how our daily adventures were. The room was gorgeous, the hot tub and pool were nice, and I would stay there every visit to Whistler if possible!

When we arrived at the Crystal Lodge, we were immediately impressed with the friendly staff--they were totally willing to help us with anything we needed, and treated us like old friends. Our room was gorgeous, like the perfect master bedroom! The bed was so comfortable, we had a hard time dragging ourselves out of it to go mountain biking the next day, but we couldn't find anything to complain about! Fabulous!

Really enjoyed this hotel. Fantastic location to all - didn't use our car - walked to everything. Appreciated the security of keyed night entry. Very clean and comfortable.

i got extremely lucky. i booked this hotel based on the price without having ever been to whistler or knowing where things are. the crystal lodge was right in the middle of things and about a half block to the lifts. unbelievable! we stayed in a deluxe king suite, which was very nice and roomy. somehow we got the handicap room, so the bathroom wasn't so nice, but for the price, i can't complain too much. i also wasn't too thrilled that when we tried to extend our checkout to noon they had already given out all their extensions - never had that happen to me before. but ultimately we probably didnt' need it as we were out on the slopes all day. i would most definitely stay here again if the price was right - we went during spring skiing, so the room was cheap, but also during telus festival, so not bad!

Great location @ 150 yards from Gondola base. All the best restaurants and bars VERY close by. Attentive staff was very helpful throughout the stay.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel. It was so clean and everything looked new. Hotel staff was so friendly. It's location is so close to the ski lifts, restaurants and shopping!! The room was very modern and beautiful!! The beds were the most comfortable!! At times, we didn't want to leave the room. We had a room with two queen beds. In the basement of this hotel was The Spaghetti Factory - excellent for families! Everything was in walking distance, which is what we were looking for since we arrived to Whistler by commuter bus service from Vancouver. When we come back to Whistler, we will stay here again for sure!!

This hotel is right at the base of the slopes withing walking distance to everything. It is situated right in Whistler Village on the pedestrian walkway with access to all shops, restaurants and activities. The food at Ric's Mix was good and a fair price, and don't miss the Spaghetti Factory. It is wonderful and also a fair price. Earl's was great, for a more expensive meal. The hotel could do more to tell you of the activities in the area. We heard of the Sunday night "fire and ice" show that was a lot of fun from someone on a lift. They also are not very clear on ski storage and maps of their hotel. Also, be careful of the extra costs of the hotel room. They charge more for over 2 people in the room and the tax adds quite a bit, so what may seem like a great price, adds up to a lot more. It is still worth more to be this close to everything.

Great price, great location, great condition, friendly staff. You can't ask for me if you are doing a ski trip in Whistler with a small group of people.

we stayed in room 322 or 324 don't quite remember which one. just up to the third floor and to left just before the stairs. what a very nice room.spacious,vaulted ceilings,plus,plus,plus. the room was the best one we had in british columbia.

Very comfortable hotel. Staff friendly and offers to assist with any question or arrangement. We enjoyed eating in the Ric Mix restaurant located in the Crystal Lodge complex and the Chicken wings in the Crystal Lounge restaurant can't be beat for the price. Nice Sauna and the jacuzzi and pool were also kept heated and clean.

The location of the Crystal Lodge Hotel is a bonus; just a 2 minute walk to the ski lifts and in the heart of the restaurant and shopping hub. Staff were friendly and quick to offer help or advice where needed. We couldn't fault the room or hotel amenities, however due to its location there was a bit of social noise that continued into the wee hours of the morning during some nights.

Our stay at Crystal Lodge Hotel was overall a very satisfying experience. We had a wonderful time in Whistler and one of the main reasons for that was our hotel. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were absolutely beautiful (we had a deluxe and a 2 level loft), the location fantastic (just a very short walk to the gondolas), and the price was reasonable relative to comparable. As an added bonus, the two restaurants attached to the hotel were great as well, offering quality food and a great value. I would certainly consider returning to Crystal Lodge on my next visit to Whistler.

The hotel is very convenient and the bed was comfortable, but the room was VERY small. The part of the hotel including the the lobby is newer, but my room was definitely in the old section of the hotel. Pictures are not an accurate representation of many of the rooms whatsoever.

We celebrated my husbands 30th birthday the same weekend "peak to peak" was opening. In no way did that interfere with the quality of service we received from the hotel staff. They were helpful and obliging in any and every way. The room was incredible and far beyond what we expected.

We stayed at this hotel during the thanksgiving weekend. This is located in the heart of Whistler Village and is central point to travel around Whistler. Everything is a few minute walk. The hotel was in great condition and seemed renovated. Best part was the common entry way into Starbucks from inside the lobby.
