Semiahmoo Resort - Golf - Spa - Blaine

We were extremely satisfied with the hotel, but found the location (although very beautiful and scenic) somewhat out-of-the-way. The staff at the hotel were helpful, the food at the restaurant was exceptional, and the trails for walking and running were well marked and maintained. We would definitely consider this this hotel in the future.

For our 46th Anniversary, I wanted to give my wife something special. Not only the room, the water view, the spectacular sunset, dinner and breakfast, the staff, it was all a total package that was "Something Special". When smiles abound, the atmosphere shines like they're proud to make an experience really special. Will we go back? Count on it!

We enjoyed 1 night with Semiahmoo. In the Blaine area on business. Our room had a view of the parking lot. It's a long way around the harbor to the peninsula, with 25-30 mph speed limits, but the hotel is nice. Breakfast was great, too.

We are repeat customers for good reason. The hotel is in an excellent, scenic location, with a friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are especially nice and the hotel has very nice amenaties. It is a very good value, especially on this occasion.

I don't think this hotel has the typical hot water system most hotels have. The water was extremely cold for the first few minutes and never warmed up to a nice hot temperature (Rm 3155). Also it was a long walk to get to this room. Stairs that were nearer would have been nice. Stars Restaurant food was not impressive. One piece of toast was burnt on the bottom. It was marbled rye toast, but it was so dark you would never be able to tell. Eggs were so tough that my daughter didn't eat them. Mine were too - but I was hungry.

Always a nice place to stay!

At first I thought there would be nothing to do at the Semiahmoo Resort; I had never even heard of it. I am so glad I was wrong. The food was great, the view as the sunset while sitting at the bar was even better. Everyone was incredibly friendly and had ideas of what to do the next day. My friend and I woke up the next morning and had breakfast outside, went kayaking and say seals pop their heads up 5 yeards from our boat, biked around the water, thought about going to the spa, but decided to stay outside and enjoy the weather. The prices were totally reasonable, the fun was fantastic, and we both came back completely releaxed.

Great quality. Nice place to escape and enjoy some quiet time during the off season. I am sure it will be a blast when the weather gets nice. I plan on returning to this resort!!

We enjoyed our stay very much.It`s a first class resort throughout from the beautiful view of the water to the nice maple trim and furniture. The service was good ,food good,and we enjoyed our walks in the surrounding area.

no problems, they were wonderful. the room was great, the staff were great, I had a wonderful time.

I originally ordered a view of the water. We were given a room on the first floor overlooking the parking lot. I felt it was way too expensive given our view.

Went to stay at the hotel for a wedding. Beautiful location with water all around. Great sunset views. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is a out by itself so if you need things from a grocery store buy things before you get there, but no fridges in the room. The room I was in was real large with lots of space. Food that was for the wedding and the rehearsal was very good. Overall very good stay. Very romantic for couples.

Even the standard rooms are huge, with a full sitting area and desk. The glass walled restaurant sits right on the water and the views are stunning.

Spent 2 nights at the Semiahmoo resort after crossing 10 time zones traveling from Japan to visit our grandchildren before returning to the east coast. The second, more expensive night was actually a nightmare with an increasingly wild party developing across the hall. Finally, after 2 hours I called the front desk and was told "it will be over by midnight". The next morning the young lady at the front desk was happy to tell me that the party had been scheduled and sanctioned by the resort and no, the resort made no effort to group members booking together in the same area of the hotel, even when a party was planned outside other guests' BEDROOMS. The third time I said "Well maybe they should" she finally got it and offered us free breakfast. This being 10:00am, we had already eaten and declined. In the end they did comp our first night, but only after pointing out in a disparaging tone that we had, after all, booked with Expedia. Of course, we had actually booked with Hotel.com! Nice place, very poor service.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Resort was very family-friendly. We had a great weekend getaway!

The hotel should have a cafe or place that serves at least a continental breakfast on site vs having to get into your car and drive to another location.

Too much noise due to the unruly children in adjacent rooms during late hours of the night. We ate at all of the restaurant facilities at least once each and found significant problems with the food and food prep on all occasions. Any Denny's probably has a more experienced staff.
