het hotel heeft een viertal gebouwen. Nadeel, er is geen lift en de trapopgang is erbarmelijk slecht verlicht en vies. De galerijen zijn gehorig naar de kamers.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The restaurant choice was limited as the main eatery on site was not open for dinner, however, we still had a reasonable meal in the Timberwolf Restaurant, also on site. The scenery here is what makes this location. It is breath-taking!

We stayed 2 nights, in an economy twin room in the Pine Building. The positives: room heating worked great, nice toiletries, good location(walking distance from a small shopping plaza) and relatively easy to find, decent food in restaurant, standard breakfast options, beautiful views and flowers on hotel grounds. The negatives: very small rooms, smelly shower curtain, stains on carpeted floor, no free internet access ( you need to pay $10 for 24 hrs), no elevator in Pine building (we had to manually lift our luggage up two flights of stairs), local channel describing the rockies was static-ridden and we couldn't hear the narrator; sometimes the room became too heated and we had to open the door to let the heat out (poor ventilation in general), one staff member was not friendly when we checked in- no maps or explanation of amenities, restaurants were given to us whereas the previous guest was given information about these things. In general, I would not recommend staying here unless you are prepared to shell out the money for a more expensive room.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms have recently been remodeled. Very clean and bright. However, air conditioning did not work in our room. 82 degrees in room at night which was very uncomfortable. Checked out of hotel after one night primarily for this reason. Exercise equipment was in terrible condition and primary restaurant was closed - open weekends during summer months?

We had a one night stop after driving up from Banff. A good hotel, plenty of parking and helpfull staff.

The Lake Louise Inn was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced when viewed in the context of the small village. The village was a very short walk, mostly on a trail, and the main building of the hotel had a clean pool and hot tub with changing area, and an adequate restaurant with a slightly better than average brunch. A free shuttle takes you to the ski resort, and it's a quick ski or hike or even quicker drive to the lake. The service was better than average. It wasn't special, but I didn't go to Lake Louise to spend time in my hotel room. It was what I expected - clean and reasonably comfortable with friendly staff, and I would return if I visit the area again.

We arrived after dinner so had a late bite in your lounge and found it very enjoyable--service was very personable and quick. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much. The scenery was a beautiful start to our trip of outrageous view after view of the Rockies. We paid a great rate just outside of the season.

The hotel service and the surroundings were nice. The quailty of the room for the amount of money charged was very disappointing. I thought the room was very expensive and very small. We thought that the room would have two queen beds and instead they were double beds. There was very little space in the bathroom to set anything on the counters. The towels were nice and large. The front desk was very friendly.

Having traveled from Calgary with a brif stop at Banff, plus the must see Lake Louise. We arrived a little tired and in need of our feet up. "I'm sorry sir you are booked in for tomorrow", said the Receptionist. I had written confirmation of my date, and the receptionist having spoke to I assume the Manager gave us an upgrade, (Bingo). Well done Lake Louise. Nice suite clean an comfortable. Be aware that the Inn is in the Village not up the hill at the lake itself, a short drive away.

Stayed one night in Aug 08 in an economy room. 1970's decor and an odd smell (damp, stale smoke?). It was a warm night and there is NO air-con, just a small window; sound-proofing not great either. On the plus side, the main hotel block is smart and airy, the reception staff pleasant and the breakfast OK (not included in room rate). There is very little in the way of ameneties in Lake Louise; if you can, stay in Banff and visit the lakes from there (unless you can afford the Fairmont).

Location is perfect. But... The hotel rooms are very small unless you are prepared to spend > $350/ night. The rooms are cramped and lack air conditioning, no fan vents in bathroom, poor room ventilation( at times we left door open to get cool outside air). The rooms lack a refrigerator and no elevators. We personally observed other customers complain about the condition of their rooms to management and seek refunds or reductions in the room rates.

Hotel is very old and in need of renovating. Our room had a very nasty smell when we first walked in. We had to leave the door open for awhile to air it out. The bed had a very old mattress and was very uncomfortable. This hotel is not worth the money we paid.

We booked one night at the Lake Louise Inn, on our way between Banff and Jasper in Aug 2007. It's a good location, walking distance to the LL Mall and has a nice pool with 2 hot spas. The staff were friendly in reception, but less so in the bar downstairs. The rooms were a little dated and there wasn't much space, but it didn't really bother us since we spent most of our time outside! The bar downstairs is a bit secluded and could really do with a facelift. I am sure they could make much more of the bar if they made a little effort into making it a nice place to relax and go for a drink. On the whole, I would recommend as a relatively cheap accomodation option in the LL area, but don't expect too much from your stay.

This hotel was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the Canadian Rockies. The room was great, had a bit of an odor at first which we thought was smoke, but actually dissapated after we settled in. I would not really recommentd the restaurants-there are 3. We ate in the pub and spouse's ribs were wonderful but my burger seemed to be made up of compressed meat, rather than ground beef. Friday night is disco night and is a lot of fun and had a big crowd.

Small rooms, no a/c, rickety floor, odd color water leaked from faucet

Hotallet har god kvalitet, du får mer for pengene her enn på fasjonable Fairmont. Godt utvalg med spisesteder.

You get what you pay for and expect at the price. Great rooms, facilities, location.

Man parkt mit seinem Wagen vor dem Haus, in dem das Zimmer ist. Außenflure, Treppen, keine Aufzüge, aber bei Bedarf kann man sich beim Koffertragen von Bediensteten helfen lassen. Also eher Motel als Hotel. Der Bau ist aus der 60ern. Mein Zimmer mit zwei Queens war klein. Für zwei Personen kaum Möglichkeit die Koffer unterzubringen. Kein Schrank, nur eine offene Kleiderstange. Frühstücksbuffet warm/kalt oder einzeln bestellbar, freundlicher Service. Am Abend gibt's Pizza/Nudeln oder kleine Gerichte im hauseigenen Pub im Keller. Auf meiner Rundreise waren die meisten Unterkünfte in derselben Preislage besser als dieses Hotel. Wenn es unbedingt Lake Louise sein soll, z.B. als Start für den Yoho-NP, dann geht es für eine Nacht und es ist nicht zu teuer. Sonst würde ich immer eine Unterkunft in Banff vorziehen.

If you need a good nights sleep in clean comfortable room - this is an all right stay.

von einem hotel dieser art und preisklasse haben wir uns mehr erhofft. Das queensize-bett hätte auch gut und gern ein einzelbett sein können. Der empfangsbereich sah sehr gut aus. Als wir jedoch den uns zugeteilten bereich betraten, war der erste gedanke "renovierung dringend notwendig". Insgesamt eher enttäuschend im vergleich mit anderen unterkünften auf unserer reise.

Die grösste Enttäuschung auf unserer 3-wöchigen Reise durch den Westen Canadas.

Das Hotel ist sehr groß, besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden. Leider verfügen diese Gebäude über keinen Aufzug, so dass wir unser Gepäck in den 3. Stock schleppen mussten. Das Zimmer war aufgrund der 2 Betten sehr eng. Man konnte kaum die Koffer irgendwo hinlegen und konnte sich kaum bewegen. Wir verbrachten nur eine Nacht dort. Einen längeren Aufenthalt kann ich in diesem Hotel nicht empfehlen aufgrund des beengten Wohnraums. Die Lobby sowie die Restaurants im Hotel hatten ein schönes Ambiente. Pool und Whirlpool waren ok.

Massentourismus in veraltetem Umfeld mit Motel Charakter. Service Personal zuvorkommend und nett.
