Super 8 Motel - Ferndale/Bellingham Area - Ferndale

Rooms were very nice, everything was very clean. Pool was clean. Good breakfast.

this hotel was so clean that I thought it must be a new one. They did have a shortage of pillows and I was glad that I had brought my own. I was very happy that the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves.

We had a smoking room and the smell is unbearable. The hotel charged me the highest rate possible because all room are booked (price gouging?)

The room was fine and so was the service. The breakfast was very nice. If one is pushed for time and needs to get on the road without looking for a breakfast spot. The hotel's breakfast was very nice.

Given the price, I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. Its clean, friendly, safe. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the room was fine - very clean, in fact. Its located right next to a Denny's and its near I-5. The indoor swimming pool is a nice addition. Breakfast was plentiful - bagels, waffles, toast, etc. The staff was entirely friendly and helpful. Its not a 5-star resort, but for my needs and budget, a great value.

We stayed here for one night while visiting our daughter in Bellingham. The room was comfortable enough but front desk could use some improvement. We called on Sunday morning to see if we could move our check out time to noon and was told that was not possible since there were a lot of guest whom have not checked out yet. Now looking out in the parking lot there were maybe 10 cars including ours. So not sure if all the guests had arrived by other means of transportation but could not understand why an one hour delay would have made much difference. Also, I left a bracelet in the room and realized it after we arrived home. I called after arriving home and was told someone from housekeeping would call me the next day. I ended up calling the next evening as no one returned my call. No bracelet was found so that was unfortunate. The bracelet was not expensive but did have a lot of sentimental value. As far as the continential breakfast. . .stale muffins and coffee was about all that was available for a quick meal. Overall, would probably not stay there again

My 6 year old son and I went to visit family in Ferndale for the weekend. We decided to stay in a hotel as a treat and were really excited to see that they had a pool. The staff at check-in AND check-out were fantastic. We checked in late, which worried me until I was greeted so warmly. Check-out was willing to extend out check out a few minutes in case we needed more swim time. We also loved the fact that it was right next door to a Denny's. The ONLY downside was that the morning we were checking out there was someone smoking in our area which was a non-smoking floor.

I actually stayed in one of the far corner rooms. I had no internet service at all. I decided not to complain because it wasn't the end of the world. But, around 10pm I had a family enter the room next door and realized that the walls were built paper thin. I also had at least 2 kids up above me jumping around and of course, just being kids. I got no rest at all and the baby next door stayed up crying and mumbling baby words all night. The hotel staff was great and got me checked in quicker than I had ever beed checked in before. And they did it with great attitudes. But whoever built that building should be beaten with a large object.
