Outstanding Hotel!!

We received excellent service from Pinnacle staff, the receptionist in particular! She was the most helpful of all we'd met in our week long trip across western canada. Due to a booking mix-up we needed a room upgrade, which had already been noticed and arranged - to a one with a double jakuzzi! Excellent mid-town location and can't fault any other services after getting used to the no restaurant in hotel policy which seems to becoming common. Good room provision and plenty of nearby cafes and supermarket.

Quiet hotel in ideal location -- close enough to key restaurants and ski area, but not a "scene." Hotel staff extremely helpful.

Nice room. People and staff very helful. Near Town Center, rental loacations, can walk to all part of Whistler.

Exceeded my expectations in all areas.

We were automatically upgraded when we got there, which turned out to be quite nice, as it was raining buckets outside and we spent the first night in the hotel. We had a TV and VCR and a in room jacuzzi. What a nice way to wait out the storm. Very helpful front guest. We had a great stay.

The room was well appointed and provided opportunity to cook and eat in if desired; fireplace was a nice addition. There was some late night street noise as party goers returned to their accommodations.

No outstanding problems, good clean hotel. The one complaint I have is that they forgot to give us a new bath robe after using it one night and putting it on the chair. The cleaning person must have overlooked it - not a big deal, I asked for a new one and the front desk brought it to the room. Free wireless internet - ask front desk for the password.

The location of hotel is very good, quiet and just a short walk to both 2 grocery stores in Whistler. The room was quite big, very comfortable and have all kitchen stuff. The staff was very helpful and enthusiatic.

We travel a lot and this was the friendliest and most helpful staff we've ever encountered anywhere in the world. Everything was as promised. The room was exactly as expected...not fancy, but clean, comfortable, and in good repair.

Awesome staff!! My car broke down and the staff was so will and friendly to help me. The room was pretty good, and I really loved the spa in the room, great plae to relax afetr a long day on the mountain. Lastly the hotel has a great location.

My husband and I were a little wary since we got such a low rate for a weekend during the peak season, but the service, quality and location of the hotel far exceeded any of our expectations. The front desk was very accomodating and was able to grant our late check-out request. The room was extremely clean and we had a great view from the corner room. Overnight parking was way cheaper than Seattle hotels and the location was great. The lifts, restaurants and shopping were all very accessible. All in all, a great weekend at an extremely affordable rate.

Rooms were very reasonably priced considering that it is a resort/vacation area and near the peak of the season. The room was very comfotable and more than met our needs. The only negative was the fact that we found a nasty looking hair ball on one of our towels - which we decided to use as a floor mat anyway. If wireless internet service was stronger in the room, I'd say that this is only place people should stay for a ski trip to Whistler due to price, convenience to useful shops like grocery and strolling village area, easy to get to lifts either by walking or free shuttles, and having a full kitchenette in the room.

I stayed here a few years ago with a group and had a great trip. I went back last week with my wife and had another great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the kitchen is really useful and having a roaring fire and jacuzzi bath in the room was also great. Would recommend this as a clean, comfortable and cost-effective place to stay in expensive Whistler!

We selected the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel because of the location, the positive review scores/comments and the price. It delivered as promised. We particularly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Very good location with easy walking to the village. Walking to the Whistler ski lifts is a 10-15 min. walk. The rooms are a bit small but for a 3+ star hotel it is very good value. We would definitely stay there in the future. We went ahead and paid for the underground parking and am glad we did.

We based our hotel choice on guest reviews and were very pleased with the result. The hotel staff are exceptional and always available to help.

We just got back from a 4 night stay at the Whistler Pinnacle, right before Christmas. We booked through Hotels.com and found an amazingly reasonable rate. We really didn't expect much. We had stayed in Whistler many times before at the Marriott, Westin and condo units, always at 3 times the price we paid at the Pinnacle. Well, let me tell you... We rejoiced at our find!!! What a lovely, clean, comfortable and friendly hotel! We enjoyed ourselves so much.We will NEVER stay anywhere else in Whistler again. Thanks Jason and all staff at the hard working, accommodating front desk for making our trip the best Christmas ever!

This was more than I expected, My family and I really enjoyed our stay, the personnel were very kind and the Hotel itself is very comfortable and luxurious, it has there own kitchen, hot tub, and spacious bed with chimney, I highly recommend this hotel, just a few blocks from the Gondolas, I liked a lot.

Very comfortable, staff helpful, clean room, great location!!!

Great location and short walking distance from all of Whistler Village amenities. Conveniently located near dining locations, shopping and theater. Friendly, helpful staff at hotel. We would definitely return to this hotel again. Dual jacuzzi bath in room was a real treat!

We stayed for 8 nights in September 2008. Great room with good facilities including kitchen, jacuzzi in the room, nice coal effect gas fire for the cool evenings. The hotel is in a very quiet part of Whistler but only a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. The shops are very convenient as well. There is a large supermarket a couple of blocks down where you can get all you need for breakfast. There is also a handy liquor store for beers and wine. We had a very relaxing holiday here and would certainly go back.

Great stay - watched tv from the jacuzzi - how much better can life be? Very clean, comfortable. Great location.

I would highly recommend this place for people who enjoy a quiet place that is well managed. They did not let us do a late checkout though :)

Not brand new , but not run down either. Well kept up. Whirlpool bathtubs are a joke, but the tub and shower part work.

Great place for a decent rate in Whistler! I will be back!

Great room for the money! Nice clean room. Room was a little small, but packed a nice punch! Great little kitchenette, Jacuzzi tub in the room, Room had a wonderful Flat screen tv and a cute little fire place in the room, Our room faced west and had a nice view of the mountains to the west. Situated a short 5-7 minute walk to the lifts and just steps from the center of the village. Far enough from the village center to avoid noice yet close enough to have fun! The hotel staff was very nice and was always ready and willing to help. They even helped comp part of our parking! Pool was clean and warm and the outside hot tub was HOT! Only negatives...The hotel room hallways need some renovating and work, as do the elevators. Exterior of the hotel needs some painting work too, but mostly cosmetic.

When our room wasn't ready for early check-in, they upgraded us to a larger room. Every room has a jacuzzi tub in the living room and gas fireplace. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, recommending activities, giving directions, allowing us to take extra towels (even after check-out) to go swimming at the nearby Meadow Park Sports Centre. Stunning views. Overall, an incredible experience and I wish we could go back again and again!

hotel is centrally located--everything is 5-10 minutes away. it has internet access for 6 bucks/hour in the lobby. if you have the time, across the street is the whistler public library with FREE internet access (by appointment). the staff was generally nice, friendly, and helpful! hotel is a "fair-value" hotel in terms of price, but i think the room rates could still be lower, especially when some of the "newer" hotels are running specials that are comparable or cheaper. -ivan

The hotel is not right in the main village, so a bit of a hike to the lifts if you're walking. Room was perfect. Fireplace, large patio, kitchen suite and great jucuzzi tub for a perfect romantic evening. Staff was great and offerred up suggestions, etc. without even asking. Hotel is on outskirts of village, but conveniently located to grocery shopping and restaurants. You won't be disappointed, especially for the price. A bargain.

Good location a block off the main Village of Whistler. Room was comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. Hotel.com's reservation took care of EVERYTHING and there were no hidden charges. The WiFi at this hotel could use some improvement, but there were locations inside my room where I could occasionally get a connection to the net.

The front desk service was fantastic and very helpful. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities needed. The only one thing they could use a bit of work on is the housekeeping services. (i.e. dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom and not vacuuming very well) Helpful Hint; if you are "Foodies" like us, you might want to eat in and cook for yourselves a few nights as the food was barely mediocre in Whistler.

Exactly as promised in Lonely planet - good base for ski-ing ( but was a few minutes walk from the lifts - there is a bus but we didn't get round to trying it ) We liked the comfortable room - kitchen was clean and reasonably well equipped -hot tub in room was lovely - the outside pool was lovely and warm - fire in room was great -staff were friendly and helpful - no complaints - good value -we would go back

The Pinnicle had everything my brother and I needed for our ski trip. Large room with a nice size flat screen tv and dvd player, a jacuzzi in the room, a hot tub and pool downstairs, ski and snowboard locker near the reception desk, and washer and dryers for our wet ski clothes. The staff was super friendly and helpful with all our travel arrangements. Our terrace had a great view of the Blackcomb mountain so we could see what the conditions were looking like for the morning. And the hotel is situated right on Main st. just out of the way of major Whistler village foot traffic, but within walking distance of any restaurant bar or shop you want to get to.
