Academie Hotel - Bruges

Aangekomen in brugge was de centrale ligging van het hotel een eerste plus. waren er om half 2 en mochten al inchecken (ondanks dat check-in vanaf 3 uur is). Kamers zijn niet verassend, wel goed schoon. Helaas geen uitzicht (muur van een andere kamer) en nog een ouderwets slot op de deur, waardoor je de deur ook achter je op slot moet draaien. De vier sterren zie je niet erg snel terug helaas. Mede doordat het ontbijt niet inclusief is, scoor je bij normaal verblijf niet meer dan 3 sterren. Al met al wel positief.

We kwamen in het donker aan met de trein en konden vandaar makkelijk de weg vinden naar het hotel, dat mooi gelegen was op korte afstand van het station en het centrum. De kamer was uiterst comfortabel en smaakvol ingericht. Daar we buiten het seizoen waren, viel de prijs relatief laag uit. Wanneer we weer naar Brugge gaan, zullen we zeker overwegen dit hotel weer te nemen.

Cooler did not work very efficiently

I was very pleased with the Academie Hotel. The location was good, our room with three beds was very large for European standards containing a large, modern, and nicely decorated Bathroom, as well as sitting room for eating. The condition of the hotel was very good and, if it wasn't for the hallway carpets leading to the hotel room being in need of replacement or washing, I would have given the hotel a perfect score for the price. The hotel staff were helpful and the lobby, garden, and bar were clean and nicely decorated.

The Academie Hotel was in a perfect location. It had it's own parking garage so if you have a car it is very convenient instead of trying to find a place within the town. We found the staff to be helpful and very nice. We did not opt for having breakfast at the hotel. We opted to find our own breakfast and ended up getting what we needed for alot less money.

As with all of Europe a GPS is very helpful in finding the hotel. Depending on the time of day you may feel you are going the wrong way but keep going because it is worth it. A nice hotel in a great location!

Excellent front of house staff found us restaurants, made bookings and suggestions. the hotel and room itself were perfectly fine, just a little ordinary. They could do with some updating. The location is great, they're quite close to the railway station and they have parking underground which is around €15 per night, I think.

Hotel is well located right near the swan lake; not too far and not too close to the main tourist areas. The street it is on has many restaurants, chocolate stores, and tea rooms and area is very pretty. Free internet kiosk is available in the lobby. Down side is that the hotel corridors and stairs smelt of toilets. The room carpet was pretty filthy. Additional tea and coffee only available at a surcharge. Hotel reception provided plenty of assistance regarding tourism.

The hotel have very nice people and the room was very clean and confortable.

This was a great hotel. Really central and great value for money.

A lovely Hotel hidden in the back streets - a bit difficult to find in the one way system but once found it was the perfect location - easy walking distance to everywhere of interest. The multi-lingual staff were efficient and friendly and there was always someone there to help. We only had breakfast there but it was excellent. The room was quiet and a comfortable retreat after a days sightseeing on foot! I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

An oasis of calm in the often chaotic tourist mecca of Brugge. The hotel is so well positioned for a stay in this town. I have stayed in the city many times in other hotels and this is probably the best compromise in terms of quality/price/location.

Excellent location, good value, good facilities and superb location. Rooms are a little dated and basic but more than compensated by the other 'plus' points, staff very helpful and friendly

Hotel was inside Brugge old city in great location and had ample underground parking (which is hard to come by inside Brugge). Rooms were average but clean on second floor main and in cross-court building but lower quality on third floor of main building - however, staff moved us immediately on request to second floor which was a good room, especially for the comparatively low price this hotel charges. Since everything is within a 2km walk from hotel and hotel is at bottom of main site seeing route, this location was overall Excellent.

This hotel was run down, the beds were TINY, and we are not big people. The room was clean, but the lights did not work properly and the bathroom light would not turn off so we had a "glowing orb" of orange light through the painted glass door!!! They said there was internet, which was one of the reasons we picked this hotel, (for work purposes), but the internet did not work while we were there. Most of the time we were there the person at the front desk was not friendly or helpful, but rather bored with us being there and asking any questions. During the night there was a rain storm and we woke up to water pouring into our room from the window frame. This is just not a hotel I would like to stay at again, or recommend to my friends.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was great for walking to most sites in Brugge. Our room was large for a European hotel. We did not participate in any lobby activities or bar but the entire hotel was truly lovely. Parking was expensive as usual - about $17-22 Euros a day. The staff could have been more helpful - they seemed to have been overwhelmed with a large group that was there. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Consider this a great return on your investment. The hotel is exceptional for the price. The location is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Les quatres étoiles de l'hotel ne sont pas justifiées. Il s'agit plutôt d'un hotel deux ou trois étoiles Trés bon accueil. Hotel situé dans une rue calme Grande chambre pour une triple et sdb correcte mais WC dans la sdb Troisème lit "d'appoint" ! moquette au sol sale, Pd à 9 euros correcte mais attention pour les lèves tard, à 10h tout est débarrassé Hotel bien situé prés du Béguinage, Parking zone bleue à promimité , il suffit de changer l'horaire du disque toutes les quatre heures

Ravi des prestations de cet hôtel très bien situé à Bruges. Le parking (obligatoire dans cette ville) appartient à l'hôtel et est à régler en supplément (15 euros/emplacement). L'ensemble des visites peuvent donc se faire à pied à partir de l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner pantagruélique pour 9 euros/personne.

Das Hotel liegt perfekt um in Brügge Sight-Seeing zu machen. Man ist nicht mittendrin im Getümmel, aber so nah, dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. Unser Zimmer (ein 3-Bett-Zimmer) war in Ordnung, nur der Teppich war ziemlich dreckig und eckelig. Die Servie-Kräfte im Hotel waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist umfangreich und lecker. Ich empfehle einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage zu mieten, wenn man mit dem eigenen Auto anreist, da das Parken in Brügge sehr teuer ist und nicht viele Parkplätze in der Nähe des Hotels zur Verfügung stehen.

L'Hôtel est vraiment bien situé. Une fois, la voiture stationnée dans le parking (15 euros la nuit), c'est un régal. La localisation de l'hôtel permet de se promener dans la ville et de voir toutes les curiosités de la ville. Un bémol,la sonorisation des chambres n'est pas au top.

L'Hôtel Académie a l'avantage d'être très bien situé par rapport aux principales 'attractions' de la ville. Le rapport qualité prix est très bien même si les chambres sont un peu défraichies. Il propose des chambres à 3 lits. Je le recommande.

Für die Besichtigung von Brügge befindet sich das Hotel in optimaler Lage. Es ist weniger weit entfernt vom Bahnhof als die anderen Hotels und innerhalt von 3 Gehminuten befindet man sich im Zentrum von Brügge. Die Bedienung an der Rezeption war gut. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich gross und gemütlich.

L'hôtel est très bien situé à proximité immédiate du centre et non loin de la gare. Notre chambre était spacieuse et confortable - un bémol pour le prix du petit déjeuner en surplus à 9 euros - A recommander !

Gut: Gute Lage im Zentrum, ruhige Zimmer, groß genug. Betten bequem. Fahrräder problemlos in der Tiefgarage unterzubringen, Räder sehr empfehlenswert für Brügge Schlecht: Lausig geputzt, Schimmel an Wand und im Bad, Lichtschalter im Bad defekt, erst mal 5 Min. fummeln. Mittel: Keine Flexibilität, nur Einzelbetten, keine Lust des Personals zum Umbuchen. Frühstücksraum im Keller, gar nicht erst gebucht.

Un hotel en plein centre, près des canaux, restaurants etc... Une chambre spacieuse, propre, une salle de bain immense, clim'...que du bonheur !
