Mount Robson Inn - Jasper

We waren bang dat een motel wellicht wat eenvoudig zou zijn, maar het was prima voor elkaar. Goede ruime kamer. Enige nadeel is dat er nogal een hardnekkige schoonmaakclub is. Ze stonden al om 08.30 uur voor de deur, kwamen om 09.30 uur weer terug en vervolgens werd er om 11 uur ofzo gebeld of we uberhaupt wel schoonmaak wilden. Pff, rustig aan!

Niet onder de luxe hotels te rangschikken,maar goed voor enkele comfortabele overnachtingen

This motel was located about 10 minutes walk from the main centre of Jasper, and we were very pleased with it all round. The rooms were comfortable and keep spotless by very helpful housekeepers. The reception staff were also very helpful and polite. There was also a very good family restaurant on site at competitive prices. We visited Jasper in August which is apparently a very expensive time, and the motel was priced accordingly. However, the pricing was on par with other establishments. We would stay at the Mount Robson again.

The hotel was well located on one of the main roads into the town of Jasper. It took us about 5 minutes to walk into the centre of the town where the restaurants and shops are located. There is a restaurant on site, but we only ate breakfast there - the hotcakes with strawberries make a fabulous start to the day. The room was spacious and clean.

Old 1950's design, exterior halls and stairways, No elevator. Sleeping area of the room was 10 x 10 feet, the smallest we have seen except for old european hotels. When we asked for a larger room, they wanted another $200 for 2 nights. The bedding was ordinary, poor quality.

The bed was actually very clean and comfortable, but it's hard to get a good night's sleep here... the walls seem thin, the neighboring plumbing loud, and the flimsy window coverings don't block out the light very well, which is no fun in the summer when the sky is still light at 11 and the sun comes up at 5. Very cheap-seeming place.

THe Mount Robson Inn seems to have been newly renovated. Everything was clean and spacious. It is a motel-type hotel located within walking distance of the railroad station,shops and restaurants. We were very satisfied with it.

The hotel looks like an economy hotel from the outside, but our room was very comfortable and updated.

Romm was very large with 2 queen beds and 2 sinks (one in bathroom and one just outside of the bathroom) microwave, fridge. They were just remodeled around Jan. of 08. Very nice, new bathroom. We were very surprised and pleased. they outside just looks like a regular 2 story motel (gray with blue shutters, nothing fancy) Inside was GREAT!

Hotel is a "lodge" type motel and I didn't expect high standard when looking at it from outside. However, our room was well equipped with a huge bed and a newly fitted bathroom. Had a comfortable stay with the only small criticism being some slight noise from the other rooms when showers were on. Location of hotel is 5 minute walk from centre of Jasper.

The looks from the outside was O.K. but the inside of the room was great. Verry pleased and would stay there again.

The pictures posted online for the inn did not do it justice. Our room appeared to be remodeled since the picture was taken. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room.

We had a 'Whistler Suite' at the Mount Robson Inn, which we thought was really a motel. The room, however, was quite large and well fitted. It was very clean and we had a nice bathroom. We had a sitting area and a fridge and many channels on the tv, where we were able to watch the final of Euro 2008. The service was friendly and good, although the restaurant is run independently and had a very limited wine selection. Overall, we thought the value was good, although this area of Canada is expensive as regards acommodation.

It's been recently renovated so the rooms are much better than the outside appearance of the motel suggests. It's extremely comfortable, very well appointed, super clean, and attractive. I was pleasantly surprised. An outstanding value.

Hotel was ok, nothing fantastic !! The room are small and stinky. Eventhough we booked the room via Hotels.com it was far to expensive for this type of hotel. It is just above a Motel quality.

Das Motel am Westende des zentralen "Connaught Drive" ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer sind gross und in gutem Zustand. Der Preis liegt am unteren Ende der ortsüblich hohen Skala. Das anliegende Restaurant verdient allerdings nur mittelmässige Bewertungen: Griechisches "Familienrestaurant", bei dem leider jedliches "Ambiente" fehlt.

Unser Zimmer (Standardzimmer) war sauber, aber klein. Das Inn ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Region und in Jasper selbst. Der Komfort leidet unter dem kleinen Zimmer, es eignet sich daher wirklich nur zum Übernachten.

Jasper è cara e il rapporto costo/prestazioni dell'hotel Mount Robson non sfugge alla regola che tutto , dagli hotel ai ristoranti , a Jasper sono 20-30 % più cari ad esempio di Banff, altra località dele Rocky canadesi
