Eurostars Mediterranea Plaza - Alicante

Het hotel is prima en de ligging is op zich uitstekend, echter het enorme nadeel is dat er m.n. in het weekend geen oog kan worden dichtgedaan a.g.v. gigantische herrie die de dronken jongeren in de stad veroorzaken en er is in het hotel geen kamer waar je hieraan ontsnapt. Van de 7 nachten hebben wij er 3 bijna niet kunnen slapen, o.a. omdat Kerst midden in de week viel.

Hotel very clean and in ideal location.The plaza the hotel sits in is being re-built at the moment - but this did not affect our stay. Didn't eat at hotel so can't comment on food. Best rate via hotels dot com.

Good location, but basic hotel, could do with being modernised! Lots of noise if your staying weekends, people coming out of clubs etc.. Ok if your staying for a short while as its location is good.

To get into the hotel you have to negotiate a building site the Town Hall Square is completly dug up with builders working from 7 in the morning till 7 at night with all the noise and dust that a major refurb kicks up. While the hotel does its best this does have a major impact on your stay. Getting in and out is a dangerous obstical course. I suppose thats the price you pay for being in a really central spot. When its done I will return but honestly feel this hotel should be discounted to a low price while this major work is carried out. Just a point on the rooms why no hospitality tray never been in a 4 * without one so do take the travel kettle

I booked this hotel within an hour after missing my flight home and was pleasantly surprised to find it was in a superb location in the old town with the marina and its varied selection of restaurants and bars closeby. The room was very modern and well equiped, the only downside was a lack of a fridge/mini bar. The breakfast buffet was superb with a wide selction of hot and cold food on offer. The staff were excellent and everyone I came across during my overnight stay were very charming, I would thouroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who are looking for a mini city break in Alicante.

Eurostars Mediterranea Plaza is located just a stone's throw from the Esplanda de Espansas, the beach, the old town and its numerous restaurants. The square in which it is located is undergoing major works but other than having all the building materials stacked up, their work did not detract from out enjoyment. The hotel is also located close to a taxi rank, the narrow guage railway station and the airport bus stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff allowed me to check in early, as I arrived early but had an appointment out of town later in the morning, and did not expect to return until later in the evening. Rather than carry my luggage with me, I left it in the very well maintained room.

Great location for the town and the beach. Close to the main bus from Alicante Airport. Highly recomended

Everything about this hotel stay was fabulous. The location couldn't have been more convenient, less than 5 minutes to the beach, marina and old town with loads of restaurants and bars. The rooms were very modern with ample space in both the bed and bathrooms. Our group would definitely book in here again.

A very clean and modern hotel it is right in the middle of alicante which is great for shopping & the beach, & the night life is just on your door step.

The hotel is in a very central location and I would recommend it. The bathrooms are particularly big and well stocked with toiletries. It had everything you need in a hotel room and is excellent value for money. While we were there the machine that makes the room key cards was not working well and so check-in took ages and many visitors had to keep going back to Reception as theirs didn't work.

Great weekend destination from the UK - Short flight, easy and cheap bus service into Alicante - just over a Euro per person! - Beach, marina, shops. Amazing choice of restaurants from the commerical to the very Spainish. Recommed the castle for great views. Hotel best compared to Holiday Inn in the UK - Very clean, good reception. Downside no lounge. Very central so great walking base.

the location of the hotel was perfect. We were in town during the Holy Week and the hotel was close to the church so we just had to walk around the corner to watch the events and one night all we had to do was to look our window to see the activities. We were just a couple of blocks from the water front- we could also see that from our window. The streets were a bit noisy at night, but I always take ear plugs when I travel, so that really wasn't a problem. Our room was nice and clean.

The hotel was much better than i originally expected after reading quite a few bad reveiws about the noise pollution. It was in a great location, right by the beach and had great views of the Santa Barbara Castle. Our first two nights we had a room on the second floor and got little sleep because of the noise from the street at night time. So we asked if we could move to a room higher up in the hotel and the staff were really helpful and gave us a great room with a balcony and a queensize bed, as opposed to the double bed we had in the previous room. They didn't charge any extra for this and were really apologetic. It was our first time to Spain so didn't know much of the language or much to do in the area but the staff were extremely helpful, giving tips on where to dine etc. They spoke very good English and were really polite. The rooms were a good size and were very clean. I would stay here again and would recommend it because it was very good for the price we paid.

Great hotel, very convineant for the restraunt distric and no boozy holiday makers. Good and kind staff. Breakfast needs fresh coffee not a machine.pity about the noise at 4.00 am when the night clubs empty.

Hotellet er enormt centralt beliggende med udsigt til rådhuspladsen og udsigt til bybjerget. Fra værelsets balkon så vi to bryllupper foran rådhuset. 5 min. gang til strand og lystbådehavn. Max. 10 min. til det store indendørs marked. Restauranter lige rundt om hjørnet. Mere centralt kan det ikke blive. Samtidig meget rimelig pris. Eneste minus er, at der ikke er værelser med havudsigt.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til for både shopping og strandliv. Noen få meter unna marinaen. Rent og pent, og hyggelig betjening. Minus er dyr frokostbuffet - kjøp det heller ute. Det er dessuten veldig lytt mellom rommene!

Udmærket hotel med en rigtig placering i byen - gåafstand til strand, seværdigheder og indkøb. Værelserne er veludstyrede og der findes sauna og et lille fitnessrum på øverste etage. God morgenmadsbuffet for ca. 8 EUR. Negativt er at det er rimelig lydt, så både trafik og andre værelser kan høres!

Bra hotell med nära till allt bara 200m till hamnen.

Ett trevligt hotell med bra service samt en underbar takterass. Det går inte att få ett bättre läge, nära till allt!

Géographiquement bien situé à proximité du centre d'Alicante, il propose un service et un confort très corrects. Les dimensions de la chambre restent cependant petites.

Das Hotel ist nicht unbedingt ein 4 Stern Hotel, zB. Wasserhahn bei Dusche lässt durch..., das Hotel ist aber aber sehr "härzig" und sehr zentral gelegen. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar, die Promenade sogar noch näher. Man befindet sich direkt im Stadtzentrum. Die grosse Shoppingstrasse ist etwas weiter entfernt, jedoch auch gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Man ist auch sehr nah vom "Hausberg" das Schloss.
