We enjoyed our stay, it was a trip to get into downtown Chicago but we saved a lot by staying here.

The room was outstanding, The service was first rate

Courteous staff, spacious room,nice fitness center, family friendly pool, free WiFi and 24 hour shuttle. About as good as it gets

Everything being equal, the staff stands out for their helpful attitude and cheer.

Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel was a bit pricey (paying for convenience), but the food was excellent and the staff was wonderful. The server even brought us a cup full of extra after-dinner mints because I stole my husband's. The place was immaculate. Bed and pillows were the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. We loved our stay. We'll be back again.

The HGI is a "pick me".

This hotel was excellent. The staff was exceptional. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice-looking hotel. We picked this because of the pool, relatively close to Chicago and fair price. Our kids loved the pool and thought it was the coolest thing ever. They actually have a separate area for smaller kids to play in that is fenced - very nice. The staff was very nice and offered to give us a ride to/from the nearby trainstation. Couple of things I was not so happy about. Namely there is no breakfast included. Now given the regular brekfast in other hotels is really nothing to write home about, it did bother me a bit that the breakfast they offered seemed way overpriced. To feed a family of 5 would have cost more than a dinner at a restaurant - could not afford. They do have refridgerators and microvawe ovens in the room so we took advantage of that. The other thing is the noise due to the hotels proximity to the airport. I have stayed in many hotels around airports and generally you can not or can barely hear the plains passing by. But in this hotel - especially if the AC was not on - it literally woke us up. I would have expected better insulation at a Hilton. So if you decide to stay here turn up the AC and if you're on a budget get some sandwich material.

Each of the hotel staff went out of their way to be friendly. The hotel and rooms were in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend to others as well as plan a future stay in this facility.

This hotel exceeded my expectiations. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotless. The pool and hot tub were pristine. The bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping in a cloud. The shower curtain had a screened area to let in the light. The little details made the difference, and showed that someone was really thinking of everything.

Have stayed in a number of other local hotels and this ranks with the best.

Excellent stay, have stayed in most of the other hotels in the area and this ranks among the best.

Very Nice Hotel, room was very clean and staff very nice. Enjoyed the pool area.

The Hotel was GREAT. I have 3 little girls and the kids pool was awesome for them.

Thought I had booked a smoking room but the entire hotel including resturant is non-smoking. There is a designated smoking area outside. I didn't mind this, but was not expecting it since the reservation allowed me to pick smoking as an option and I did not see that is was non-smoking until after I confirmed my reservation. Was an outstanding hotel in all other areas, very clean, friendly and helpful staff and excellent ammenities!

Nice hotel. Rooms well equipped and very clean. Beds very comfy, best bed in a long time!!

great hotel, people friendly, great clean comphy room, i really like the kiddy pool for my youngest son, he really loved it, and the computer room for my oldest son, and the hot tub for me, something for everyone.....only thing was trying to find it i had to call the hotel a couple of times for directions but in all its worth it......i will be back

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool area was great for a 4 & 7 yr. old. We were very impressed that this hotel had a separate zero entry gated area for the younger children. The many sizes of beach balls, noodles, etc. made the pool area even more exciting to my children. the only negatives I had about this hotel were the restaurant/room service prices and the bottled water that you had to pay for in the room if you chose to do so. We did not eat at the hotel for that reason. The great deal we got through hotels.com made the weekend even more wonderful.

Loved the hotel, loved the room. The pool was fabulous! We have a 4 year old who could just not get enough of the pool. It is very accomodating to older kids as well as 2-5 year olds with their zero depth pool. The Hotel restaurant had excellent food and was convenient to the Rosemont convention center to the airport and really a quick ride to downtown Chicago, not in rush hour of course.

On hotels.com my husband was given the option for a smoking room which is why we choose this hotel. When we arrived we found out it was all no smoking rooms which was not a big deal except that the next morning we were charged a $100 fee for smoking in the room. When we spoke with the manager he stated that the night auditor said he spoke with us the night before because we were smoking in the room. We never smoked in the room, not to mention NO ONE spoke with is the night before. It was embarrassing that we had to plead our case in front of everyone at the front desk and be looked at like liars. Eventually, we received our $100 back when the manager in fact found out the auditor never spoke to us, he just assumed the smell was coming from our room. Also, the king bed was uneven. My husband's side was lower than mine.

Wonderful hotel! Would definitely stay there again!

I stayed here with my two children (7yr old and 5 yr old) for our New Year's celebration. From the moment we stepped in 'til we checked out the hotel and its staff exceeded our expectations. Everyone was warm, friendly, and very accommodating. The pool hours are great and we had fun spending most of our stay there. The rooms are beautiful...very 'fancy' yet very comfortable. I would definitely give the Hilton Garden Inn a thumbs up!

My daughter and I were very impressed and pleased with this particular hotel. Everyone was very nice, helpful, courteous, friendly and did everything they could to make our stay a memorable experience. The courtesy van took us wherever we needed to go in the area, and were prompt and courteous. We were allowed a late check out (approximately 2 hours past the allowed check out time) so that we could stay there until we needed to leave for the airport. The restaurant at the hotel had good food and the prices were reasonable. Our room had all the amenities that we needed and expected, and we had an excellent stay. This particular hotel had recently won an award in 2007 for the best hotel in the Hilton chain, and they are living up to award. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to commute into Chicago but stay near the Chicago O'Hare airport.

The rooms, fitness center, pools, business center were great. Cleanliness of beds, bedsheets, bathroom & service was very satisfactory. Free parking was an added feature. Coffee, Microwave & refrigerator were helpful. 1. Carpet was not kind of old & not so clean. 2. Some folks started an extremely noisy party at 2:30AM next door with yelling & shouting & we had to call the front desk to quieten them.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was wonderful. The only downfall was that the bed was extremely soft and so were the pillows. We plan on staying at the hotel again but we will take our own pillows next time.

This hotel had to best customer service I have experienced at a hotel before. Everyone was really helpful and answered all of are questions. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would definetly recommend this hotel if your staying in Chicago. But if you want to go downtown thats the only downfall to this hotel. It took us an hour and a half to get there riding the train. Otherwise it was a great hotel.
