Central Loop Hotel - Chicago

This hotel was Amazing. Staff was extremely courtious and assisted me with all of my needs. Will return next time I visit.

Very serviceable front desk. The room was clean, however, cold. Very nice.

Loved the chilled purified water available on each floor. Rooms were very spacious and asthetically pleasing. Easy walk to Art Institute, Millenium Park, Sears Tower, Union Station and more. Only complaint -- Starbucks nextdoor not open on Sundays -- bummer!

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bottled water on each floor was great. The wireless work all the time with out problems. The fitness room was clean and well maintained.

The location was fantastic, close to the Art Institute and transit. The room was small but that is to be expected downtown Chicago. I also loved having a restaurant downstairs.

The location was great. The room was disappointing. The subfloor popped as I walked across it. The luggage holder was falling off the wall and the room was small. However the bed was comfortable and the common areas were great.

Check in was a nightmare but staff were friendly and courteous. Great location, parking reasonable.

They take a deposit of $130 off of your credit card that doesn't get put back until a week later. other than that it was a great location, clean, quiet and great customer service. I'd stay here again!

We wish there would have been a free continental breakfast.

was a bad experience for me , there was no air conditioning, directions that i recieved were wrong, no ice buckets at ice machine , sheets were dirty , and sink in bathroom leaked

Great value for the price. Great location - 3 blocks from the Sears Tower and 6 from Grant Park, if you want to be south of the River. Excellent locale for attending the Chicago Blues Fest which is why we stayed there. My only difference of opinion from others expressed is that we don't recommend the attached restaurant. It is nothing special and is essentially just a bar with deep fried bar food. If that's your forte than you're in heaven. We tripped over the Italian Village a block and a 1/2 away which we do recommend. Also, I decided to splurge for valet parking since we drove to the suburbs each day we were there I was told that the Sears Tower has 'cheap' weekend rates. I was not able to confirm but $30 for valet isn't much more than the standard $25 daily weekday rate. YMMV. We would definitely stay there again.

i thought the room and hotel were clean and nice but the a/c did not work in the room and the toilet did not flush.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The room was a bit small but that is to be expected when staying downtown in a older building. Our only real complaint, if you can call it that, is that the tv in the room was like 19" and was mounted in a weird place across the room from the bed. You would think in these nice, updated, modern looking rooms that they would have a nicer tv. This wasn't really much of an issue because we weren't in the room much but it struck us as odd.

This is a wonderful hotel in the middle of the City that is close to all of the attractions that Chicago has to offer. It is clean, safe and secure, close to trains to the airports, close to shopping, eateries and the staff at the hotel extends themselves to help all who come through the doors. I highly recommend this hotel as one to stay at when visiting downtown Chicago.

My husband and I went for a weekend trip and it was rainy and cold ,the room was uncomfortable and maintieance had to come and fix the heat. and they did't leave enough towels either. Other than that everything else was fine.

We were very satisfied with this room. Though not big it met our needs perfectly. Right in the loop within an easy walk of great restaurants and Mass transit. A great place to stay in Chicago.

Clean, updated room. Nicely finished, although small.

This was the most accomodating staff we have ever experienced in a hotel, especially Joseph at the front desk. The rooms were small but lovely, the bottled water dispenser in the hallway was a first, and the restaurant was superb, especially the beer selection.

The amenities for the price was great. Free Internet (wired or wireless). PLENTY of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. There was zero view and my cell phone and GPS didn't work, even hanging out the window. None-the-less, we were very convenient to many places and enjoyed the price.

We stayed over the weekend and really enjoyed our room. The hotel had a neat feel with the smaller rooms and renovated facilities. I would recommend it.

I found the Central Loop to be a very good hotel. It is a business hotel but found it to be more than adequate for my vacation stay. Yes the standard rooms are small, but they are efficently laid out with no space wasted. The part I liked best was the valet parking was only $30 a night, yes more than the neighboring self-park, but you could take your car in and out as often as you like. If you are looking for a resort hotel with lots of ammenities, then you will be disapointed here. If you want a place to put your stuff and get a good night sleep, then this is a very good hotel.

Our room was hot and the staff moved us to a different room. OUTSTANDING SERVICE. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Will recommend to my friends.

The hotel was very convenient to all of downtown and the sites that we wanted to see. They even had discount tickets to Sears Tower Skydeck. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Amtrak station and within walking distance to the museums and parks. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

I believe the reason we got such an amazing bargain rate on this hotel is due to the fact it's located in a business district and we were there on a weekend. That being said, it was an easy walk to the theater district, museums and lake, and CTA. Cabs were easily accessible, as were good restaurants. We didn't spend any time in the room other to sleep, but it was quite roomy for a downtown hotel. Very clean and well serviced.

This hotel was one of the best deals for the money. I could live in a shoe box as long as there was a bathroom and some comfortable bedding, provided the location was ideal. Central Loop Hotel was far from a shoe box. The hotel was well maintained, the office staff friendly, and the rooms clean and well kept. They're definitely smaller than a standard room but is still big enough for two people to be comfortable. It was incredibly easy to get to the hotel from O'Hare as it was two blocks away from the blue line metro. The best part was the location; right in the heard of the Chicago loop, it was no more than three blocks from the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park. Perfect for any tourist and at least $100 cheaper than any surrounding hotel, leaving more money in your pocket for all the shopping on Michigan Ave.

We were so pleased with the room, the service, and the location of Central Loop Hotel! I would go back there in a second. True, the rooms are on the smaller side compared to some big name chain hotels, but they are extremly functional. Think IKEA style in a hotel setting. We stayed in a studio which had a nice little kitchenette, helped save on our food budget. Really, you don't go to Chicago to stay in the room, so the size wasn't an issue. I highly recommend The Central Loop, you won't be disappointed!

The heat did not work well in our room and the beds were uncomfortable. They were more like futons. They also only give you two towels and two pillows in each room. I would suggest purchasing at least one or more pillows for each room and supplying 3 towels as the towels were rather small.

We helped immediately and it was a very classy place!

A great experience. My only complaints were that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, and I had to go to another floor to get ice - not convenient when trying to get up and out in the morning. Bed was quite comfortable. Excellent value for the price.

price was way too high for how small the room was..

The location of the hotel was convenient to other areas but there wasn't much to eat or drink in the area. The hotel pub had a very good beer selection but the food was over priced and not very good. The rooms were clean and nice. The bed was ok, a bit uncomfortable. Overall it was a good value for the price. I would consider staying there again at the same price

This hotel exceeded my expectations.

I visited this hotel on a work trip. The room itself is small, but functional. The walls are somewhat thin and units closely packed, so other guests were slightly audible. The desk was great. All items were in functioning condition, though Internet access seemed to be of questionable stability even when using the wired connection. Staff was very friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. They got what counts the most right.

center loop hotel is great clean wasn't too expensive i had a good deal on it its a few blocks away from everything you need in Chicago in the hart of down town

Very nice room; very secure with passkey use required for elevator.
